Some people seem to have pet peeves about moege et al. where they get annoyed that the characters' school uniforms don't match (and are, thus, not uniform) or that the skirts are unreasonably mini for mandatory school attire. Stuff like that never bothers me, but I thought it would be fun to try and come up with an actual explanation for why all the girls dress the way they do in VNs. (Hint, they're trying to get your attention!) Having the protagonist be on the yearbook committee as an excuse for him knowing every photogenic girl in the school is a plot device I happily borrowed from some VNs I'm enjoying at the moment.This cap started out as a more direct dating sim and Tokimeki Memorial parody with each girl having their own game-GUI-esque text box with hearts to show their affection and jealousy bombs and a lust meter (or multiple lust meters in the case of Candice), but it ended up being a lot of work and taking up a ton of space without really being amusing enough to justify itself for me. I'd still like to do something like that in a future caption though.
