Hero's Advent combat is brain dead (unless you're trying to do the shortcut route during the invasion on the city, then it shoots up to "literally impossible") but that goes for most of those. You can very easily game the Lustful Desires system even without using the penalty-free cheats, no encounter short of the final bosses even poses a challenge once you hit a certain size in DoC, and whilst the RNG is a bitch, most events in Pirahus can easily be cheesed with enough stats, pirate coins and stuff in your hold. It's really only in cases like Outland Wanderer, ToS, Aftersoul, and Small On Top where combat is actually a major hurdle. And in the former two, it's mostly tedious than actually that difficult on average.
