That and it has a really disgusting habit of having to add a summary line to each big scene, which just reads as incredibly cliched and amateur. Xialong meanwhile I'll tell it what I'll want and it'll try to get it done in a single paragraph and move on to the next scene, and trying to tell it to go back and rewrite it'll ignore me and keep trying to go on. It's directness allows it to dodge some cliches which were annoying, but the new problem is critical if I'm trying to write a scene to jack off to.

You give it information and it wants it to become relevant pretty quickly. Which is why I leave the reveal of new story information to myself rather than the AI. I also noticed at least GLM tended to reuse a lot of the same names, and Xiaolong is specifically meant to address this. But I find Xiaolong too bullish to really experiment with. And to be honest, I'm not creative with names myself- or rather when I want it to be important I end up putting in a LOT of effort deciding.

This is easy if I want to write a regular story, but if I want to write a sex scene with some niche content, it is pretty much impossible to find anything to reference because existing smut is either non existent or very low quality. But if I tell the AI to write a similar scene I often get remarkable results, with the added benefit that I don't need to spend hours browsing fanfic websites to find something usable.
