It's incredibly easy, plus it's really easy to do lewd with RP, especially with mods. You can do actual roleplay, unlike in fps games. There's housing in the game and a thriving RP/venue scene. After you're done healing, your tank can bring you to his apartment, fuck your mouth with custom animations then send you screenshots of your character with cum on her face.

The only issue is that the most interesting content will be at a higher level so you have to progress through the main story quests, which is pretty long and covers 10 years of content. The game is pretty good though so if you can enjoy it then it's definitely worth trying.

you can technically make a trial account, get out of the 5 minutes "tutorial" at lvl 2 and go to uldah on balmung for ERP. So you don't really need to finish MSQ to "participate", you can do stuff at much lower level. However, if you want to have the most fun doing content, you have to reach endgame. At max level, you get the entirety of your abilities, on top of being able to join a thriving raiding scene and participate in hard mode content that's still relevant for gearing and whatnot.

To finish the entire MSQ, it's hard to estimate, but I'd put it somewhere between 100 and 200 hours. You can always buy a story skip that brings you to the start of the last expansion, so you only have 20-30 hours of stuff to do, but you'd miss out on pretty much all the story.

The most important thing I feel for someone like you, making presumptions based on your posting, would be to go into it as a game first and a vehicle for erp and healslutting a distant second. I have hundreds of hours on the game and will keep playing it on my main and my erp alt for years to come, long after I lose interest in anything to do with this place. To try to reemphasize, I meant "actual game value" as in things like in game money, gear, items, etc. There's very, very few things like that outside of genuine bot tier activities to scrape up a pittance compared to what an end game player could generate with some little effort. There's nothing stopping me from extracting value from you by say, queuing for a dungeon with you and taking advantage of your healer queue, then taking advantage of you all during it until the run is over and everyone else leaves. Anyone can do that at any level, provided they're willing to spend the time doing lower level content. That's what I meant by your body and your time being what I could take.
And a sprout is an xiv term for a new player, all players who have below a certain number of hours and/or main story quest progression have a small green plant sprout next to their name by default, it's a good identifier for fresh me- newer players that might need a firm guiding hand or a little patience.

In game you'll have access to a couple of free character remakes (normally cash shop), so as far as your starter character you should do what feels right, since racial bonuses haven't mattered since heavensward and later on you may very well want to be one of the expansion races you can't make until you are a full fledged paying subscriber with the requisite expansions. Getting into mods and turning her from a plain pretty little sprout into a more modular toy is a slight bit more involved than I'm willing to wall of text at you right now but you can lay a little groundwork by installing and using xivlauncher instead of the native game launcher, as with it you can automatically load the mod framework you'll need (and it's just a better launcher to boot).

yes, you can get ressources, use the ressources to craft items and turn them in for special scripts. you spend them for cosmetics which you can then sell for gil (main currency, think gold in wow). It's the easiest way to produce value for your dom and you only need to beat the first expansion for it

Also, the quintessential healslut experience in ffxiv is to have the tank ask you to stay in the dungeon instance after its over. Once the other players have left, he can punish you for your mistakes and give you proper motivation to do a better job next time.
