Does anyone have any ideas on how the hell we could have a "falling on debris" or "falling down a chasm" fight at some point? I fucking love that specific setpiece, Meta Ridley from Metroid Prime 3 was the best boss fight in that game, Phase 3 of Jenova Lifeclinger in FF7 Rebirth was the best part of that fight, especially the transition to Phase 4 where the entire party just wails on her as they decend down to the absolute bottom of the Cetra City, the final phase of Titan in FF16 was peak, and of course, there's the OG, Gandalf vs the Balrog, badass demigod wizard grabbing his sword in freefall and beating the everloving shit out of a primeval demon for 10 days straight as they hurtle to the deepest, darkest depths of Middle Earth.As for my suggestion, it depends on the scale of the Shade Incident, but you could theoretically cram in this kinda fight during the decent to the Vault beneath Shade. Personally, I imagine it to be deep, deep below Vacuo City, within the colossal aquifer that gives the city it's water.
