>>72450478Yeah, that's just it, I'm kinda the opposite.Like as you could probably tell from my last post, I played way WAY too many Mobas back in the day the whole thing kind clicked really well with me. I played one of the ones I listed amongst others pretty much daily for like a good ten years and I still do really enjoy Mobas overall.Yet it's not the gameplay that really drove me away form them but the playerbase and the problems I kinda outlined before.I learned really quickly how to disable help in Dota 2 due to having an Io who made it their purpose to teleport other players into the enemy base killing them instantly amongst many, many, other examples. So I just think you can't make a modern Moba, or any multiplayer online game, without at least acknowledging that your going to have players that are going to do nothing but troll and just make other players lives hell. League gets a mild pass because they released the game back in fucking 2009, but it still doesn't excuse why they haven't done any updating to guidelines that have been exploited to hell and back. I honestly can't think of how many times I've sat at that report screen wondering if anyone is even going to look at the damn thing.Like I'll probably still checkout Deadlock once it becomes more available to the public but I really, really, hope they put in a good report system and have good community maintenance. For its mechanics still seem interesting enough to at least give it a week or two of testing and mucking about.The one 'good' example I could provide of decent community guidelines would be Dawngate's (which I actually never played) where your access to ranked was tied to how good of a person you where and general account standing, talk too much shit in game - there goes your access to ranked games until you complete a grueling grind and fix your attitude - then again the game only lasted like 6 months, so take of that what you will.
And some stacked Kindred bigs while I'm gripping about Mobas.
