Chick is not especially high achieving but Adam doesnt really seem to mind. And Abel kind of resents that. But then he thinks of the way Cain felt towards him and tries to crush those feelings of resentment down, and Chick is easygoing anyway that he can't help but find it difficult to hate him.

He has such a great design both with the mask on and with the mask off. The mask on design incorporates a lot of my favourite features of creature design and has a nice colour palette. His maskless design is so handsome. He reminds me of my husband both physically and in some of his personality traits. His cocky attitude is just so fucking good. He's got a backstory just itching to be explored, he's got the songs, he's got his dynamic with Lute which is fun and epically romantic and tragic. Just a great character, hope they give him a satisfying ending.

Unfortunately things went south during the events of the later half of the Horus Heresy (it's a whole thing that I'd have to explain as well, best way to explain it is half of the emperor's sons turning on him to instead worship demons and gods of disease, blood, sex and freaky stuff).Horus, the one the heresy is named after would fight his brother and end up killing him in very brutal fashion, you can probably find it online but it's a very gruesome end to what was one of the nicest people in the setting.The silver lining is it's implied he still lives on as a soul due to it being so powerful and has interacted with some characters in the setting.The last badass thing about him is he actually could see the future somewhat, and knew that he would die at the hands of his brother. But also knew his death would ultimately lead to the defeat of his brother and humanity's salvation, causing him to proudly go to his death anyway.All in all, a very worthy angel.
