It felt kind of special, almost weirdly heartfelt, in a way. But it also reminds me of a more simple time in my life, actually renting it from a movie rental place, then later seeing it on Adult Swim via reruns as well, during cool nights. I liked the second one too, their parody of Empire, I can’t remember when or how I first watched it, but I figured it was either Adult Swim or maybe even TBS. The third one I actually didn’t see until much later, years and years after it had or guano it aired. I’m big even sure if that one eveb made it’s way to a DVD like the first two did. By then, it seemed to have lost its flair, even they commented on how they just made that one out of obligation. Not to say I actively dislike it, it’s still a nice little ending for their Original Trilogy parody, it still has good moments, but just like in the film it parodies, it kind of loses momentum once they’re on Endor, then only picks back up during the Falcon’s Flight and the Throne Room scene. It’s not a bad parody, like, I’ll watch it, or listen to it if it’s on in the background, if it’s on already or about ti come on, but I guess I don’t have much of a nostalgic attachment to it as I do for the first two of the Family Guy Star Wars parody specials.
