Generic isekai - Got no problems with being isekai'd as the monster. I can make it work.

Hero of the story - Sounds fine to me. Guess Im destined to unite the monsters and the humanoids.

I decided to write up my own d20 random generation tables for Identity, Family, and Core Relationship for magical girls generated through Accidental Magical Girl. I don’t know how to format them prettily so they might just never get posted, but they do help. Main problem is generating lots and lots of sub-10 year olds that really won’t be feeling all the lewd stuff you could do to them.

I also find the lack of a Blue Mage weird and no, these two aren't the same thing, a BM in RPGs is portrayed as spellcaster that permanently absorbs a great variety of spells based on skills from monsters rather than a monster tamer or someone specialized on a singular monster breed.
While being able to make up your own Donnut Steel original endgame class to represent your build is a great idea, I don't think thats a convincing solution when you already went through the trouble of adding some many overspecific specializations while negleting some really basic additions in first place.

We're getting a bit away from anon's initial question, but the more "advanced" the build, the harder it gets to customize it (without drawbacks). I was playing with a lich build, for example, and that ties up so many points . . .unles you're willing to take a ton of drawbacks, you're pretty much limited to the perks that "lich" and "zombie" get discounts for, and almost have to take the racial flaws. In other words, lich builds skew heavily towards weird amoral introverts with a talent for dark and necromantic spells.

On the other hand, if you go for a basic race - like human- you've got a TON of free points to customize your build. But that's getting away from the original question about beastkin-succubi.

I decided to rework the main Gigas/Beastling stone-goat build I last posted about a year ago ( https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/68706024/#68721526 ), but holy shit I had to trim it down a lot. Going from being completely overloaded on curses and mutations, to taking only 3 vows is massive. As a result, this is probably the slimmest build I'm going to make (outside of the chest department, which I refuse to compromise on even if it's gone from earning me points to literally weighing me down).
Having to remove almost all the Curses I liked is definitely a flavor loss, but it was actually a lot of fun being forced to build around baseline Humans' restrictions and not nearly as limiting as I expected it to be, though a lot of this is probably due to the new Classes section. Looking forward to grinding out the revisions again when future parts come around.

I don't know if it's an oversight or an intentional nerf to Nephilim, but Nephilim are keyed up to be high-powered faith casters (Angel lineage) as well as thaumaturges but can't be Clerics or Cultists because of the Patron requirement. That means that in order to get to some of the advanced caster classes you have to take physical classes like Lancer or Rogue. It seems like a really clumsy way to have to take a very caster-focused class to several of the advanced caster classes.

I can make that work on my build because I'm adding Valkyrie into the mix and a Lancer class meshes well with that, but it was something I thought about while reading through the class pages. Maybe add in an exception for Nephilim if that wasn't intentional.

The more I digest the new update the more I think the entire job/level system is a net negative add, even though I love the art for them. It kinda kills the whole CYOA for me by taking everything into such a gamified direction that it just doesn't feel like a living world anymore.

More directly at issue regarding immersion for me is the birthsigns addition. While it's fun to think about as another powerset for the player, I can't imagine how tiresome it would be to be defending a village against a horde goblins or something and nope fuck you five of them are Aries goblins, go twiddle your thumbs for the next 90 seconds while they finish raping up their barmaids before their plot armor for the day goes away. I feel like it'd be a lot better if it was just the ability to grant yourself the birthsign status, without the extras tacked on.

That's what I was doing, but the classes (and the birthsigns, you make a good point there) are just a bridge too far. At the end of the day, feature creep has devoured the core premise and now it's just a collection of systems.

The way I'm parsing it is that classes (and practice) can eventually learn most entries in the Powers system with practice even without buying them, and mutations/base stats are slightly more fixed barring a corruption bath in the local tentacle pit or fleshwarping/alchemy/whatever. So the level 100 human would likely have access to things like Super Strength in addition to insanely boosted Vitality/derived stats and a whole host of other combat tricks, making them pretty likely to win in a vacuum.
I'm a lot less clear on how starting at level 150 affects things, but it'd make sense as a "drawback" if starting that high in level deprived you of the opportunity to pick up more powers naturally, I guess.

I actually always thought that Capricorn cleared whatever status you had as an indirect effect rather than 'being cleared by the afflicted', because otherwise it's not good. If you have someone else who can apply that as a status, then they should probably just hit you with an esuna or equivalent and clear it directly.
