>>79898491Harder to say for sure, but I think if I had the chance to get a cool synthetic body, I would with or without them. Maybe it's wearing glasses my whole life, or spending enough time online, but I never felt that attached to my body. Getting something I can customize now to my tastes feels right. And I don't really feel too fussed about giving up my biological one, beyond perhaps the inherent vulnerabilities of something like that. Gets a little funkier if scalies are around only really because I would rather hate to make them weirded out or some such that a human decided to get robotic black face, so to speak. But then, if that's a problem, my adoration for them is likely to also weird them a bit, so maybe it doesn't matter. Unless kobolds're real, I should be different enough from them anyways. I doubt my personal ideal form exactly matches whatever ayyscale we come across, after all.

The only source of light from that cave was the dim opening to the entrance and a dragons bioluminescent eyes. She stared at me for a bit as I back myself to the wall until she starts pulling me towards her. Soon I was being clutched by talons and surrounded by smooth scales while she swings her head around me to nuzzle my face. I had a hard time keeping my eyes up and eventually pass out in her grasp.
