ITS ALMOST VALENTINE'S DAY AND STILL NO WALMART QT GF
>>217462152She's beautiful But I don't love her because if she was ugly I wouldn't love herSo I don't careI don't loveIt's okJerk off is betterIt's probably got boring after 3 ducks too
Look at all those pieces of flair
I still miss my shortstack ex gf who dumped me a month ago. I've since been on a date with a girl objectively hotter than her, as well as more funny and charming and interesting. But I still miss the other girl. Even though she is a liberal offended the word retard and has 2 days in her family so it'd never work out cause I like to say faggot a lot. I keep thinking about inviting her over to my parents house when they go on vacation next month and saying we could have some fun and she could sleep over and have a break from the noisy roommates she was always complaining about who kept her up all night. That was part of why we broke up. If I knew it was a deal breaker for her I'd have gotten an apartment and another job, I just didn't want to fuck with my class schedule. Some part of me feels like she was looking for betabucks anyway. The chads she fucked to rebound from me I doubt she asked them anything about their employment status.
What a cinematic legend. What is your favourite Bill Murray film? Why? Mine is Groundhog's Day. The plot and acting are just extremely well done.

>>217460039Nah, never bought it. Bogdanovich carted out Karloff for a role that hints at his past, to be shot by a misguided young man. Does Murray have that weight (like Jerry Lewis for King of Comedy) to be a reference?
Groundhog Day. With Scrooged and Life Aquatic being real close behind. >>217460049I wish I'd seen his movies earlier. They were just never on TV in my area.
Times you acted like Ser Dunk.

According to Mike Stoklasa, this is the best episode of DS9? Do you agree?
>>217461735>get pregnant by a guy on the same show as you >don't even get married >relationship seems to end amicably The odds of that must be a billion in one among people in showbusiness.
It's just a game, bro. Why are you so mad?
The best episode of DS9 is Duet and it's not even close.

Mike thinks Parallels, a great TNG ep, is a bad ep.
How can their society function when all they communicate with is stock sentences? How do they conduct any sort of thing with precision? How do they develop sciences? If they understand what individual words in the sentence mean, then by using basic reasoning they can reformulate these phrases to just "reinvent" their language again. It makes no sense whatsoever.
>>217462111Well in the episode we see Picard and the alien dude establish a new phrase with the two of them included.

Do you believe in the concept of "prestige tv"
'tis /film/
>>217461536No. As I've gotten older I've moved past the fetishization of "auteurship" and realized that films can be good even if lots of people are involved in their creation, but TV invariably is commodity. There is no arthouse television.
>>217433853Someone want to explain Black Narcissus to me? I was expecting some coal burning interracial romance, not a bunch of boring nuns in the Himalayan mountains doing normal stuff and not lezzing out or fucking the local black bull.

>>217461942THIS,the only way they can salvage the rek of season 3 is if they'll actually show Grogu getting cocoon'd into their teenage form & actually started talking with Mando it's literally been years & he's STIL a child
I am just a little bit even though I will more than likely be somewhat disappointed but I'm a nostalgiafag for Star Wars.
>>217461430No way this movie is going to reach $1B at the box-office. Even Rise of Skywalker struggled to reach that goal.

Is this an upgrade?
>>217461666Trips of death. My advice to you anon is basically to do the opposite of what this guy says. Start with TOS and go in order. Don't skip any TNG. Definitely don't start with TNG. This anon is a fucking hack.
the TNG season 2 hate is outrageous. it has so many good to great episodes. and season 1 has great episodes too, not to mention several that contain critical information for later on in the series.

As transsexuality becomes more popular and accepted in society, what movies are you hoping will be remade with a trans figure as the protagonist? For me, it's Mulan.>MtF girl lives in rural China>always wanted to join the military>finally gets her chance by pretending to be a man and joining ranks>eventually reveals to her commander her feminine gender>the commander recognizes that the two identities have the same soul, and accepts her>she saves the day, and becomes a badass soldier to bootThoughts?
I'd prefer something with a bit more historical accuracy like something based off of the lives of two powerful people: Zimri-Lim of Mari in Mesopotamia and/or Tutankhamun of Egypt with trannies as leads.
Why do so many child actresses choose to pursue a music career when they grow up? Isn't it easier and more profitable to keep working in film and television?
>>217450754Look up the revenues artists get from licensing, especially big platinum hits. There are one-hit wonders from the 90s that still get thousands of dollars a year from residuals.

>>217462019just finished it. definitely some similarities in the makeup. overall awesome movie though, 7/10 at least for me
Just finished. The other movie from the director of Skinned Deep, Gabe Bartalos, who's mostly a name FX/makeup guy. It's a more or less plotless series of gags where a failed conductor in a white suit wanders around with a dog head in his bag and encounters various threatening weirdos. Bartalos is Matthew Barney's makeup guy and it definitely seems like he was trying to emulate him here. Somewhat feels like a live action Bill Plympton cartoon in some places, Jim Henson's Timepiece in others. Goofy and kind of dumb. With cameos from Bob Zmuda and Warwick Davis.
