Finally got around to watching this, and how did /tv/ collectively get filtered SO HARD by Pt. 1? I just finished it, and it's fucking KINO/amazing as fuck. Great post-apoc setting, shits on 28 Weeks Later by ignoring Paris being overrun, fantastic coming-of-age story, and good characters. What the fuck.
Anyone have a torrent of pt 2? Its been almost a week and not even a camrip's not out yet.
>>217418719It was decent, but The Bone Temple is much, much better.
>>217418719because it was garbage compared to part 2
>>217418719Most of the movie is just plain good, with standout parts that are REALLY good or REALLY REALLY bad.
>>217418719People got filtered because it was a unconvential film. 2 is getting reviewed better because it plays it safe to the audience with a much more straightforward story, camerawork, music, story arcs etcThey each have their strengths, I liked both, but 1 had way higher highs when compared to 2.
I have seen only two episodes, but that's the impression I'm getting.
>>217419129More like CowBoomer slop
>>217419940He seems like he's trying to fit in with the country cowboy boomer audience now for some reason I can't figure yet
I'm so sick of seeing commercials and trailer for this country boomer slop on pluto
That episode with the intersectional feminist "say my correct pronouns or else" roommate was a bit heavy-handed, although I know people like that.
>>217420752Given that the show is to exclusively to help boomers feel like they're still relevant and not going to die soon I can't even tell if you're joking.
$400.00-$500.00 a night would work.
>>217412771Id jump in her Sarlac Pit, if you catch my drift
>>217412700They didn't make any money charging ten to fifteen times that amount...>>217418765I can't think of anyone more deserving!
>>217412700Maybe, or keep the prices in the same ballpark and convert an old midrange cruise ship with that lazy treatment and make it a real cruise. The prices they were charging for that shit were beyond outrageous. You can get tickets on a luxury oceanliner for a small family on a transatlantic crossing for less than the base experience at Galactic Starcruiser. That's a 9 day cruise experience for a family of 4 for less than what Disney was asking for their lowest end offering. It boggles the mind.
>>217420660I honestly don't know what to do about this information. It feels like it should be interesting, but it's really not. Did you curse me?
>>217412771God it has been, how long?
>Smoking is... LE cool!
god i miss the ciggies
Don't get smokers flu.
>consumism is so bad bro>AWOOOGA IS THAT JEWDEATH IN A STICK? GIVE ME 10!!!!!!!!
I simply do not believe that cigarettes are as unhealthy as is popularly stated given how many 100 year old Italian and Japanese men who’ve been smoking since they were 11 exist. Meanwhile the thing you truly never seen are obese 90 year olds.
>>217420706>given how many 100 year old Italian and Japanese men who’ve been smoking since they were 11 existlike 5 people?
Why don't we build anything like this anymore?
Because the people that can afford something like this are usually boring businessmen without imagination.
>>217420570That was a long ass time ago. You're only as good as your latest hit.
>>217420668Because it's far more an impressive feat of human ingenuity/intelligence than some bullshit data center that powers AI?
>>217420712This is like saying a katana folded 1000 time is more impressive than a shotgun. Though that may be, the latter has far more practical use and power.
>>217399483>if not cat, why hiss?

>>217403440>NO EXPECTATIONS
>>217403075This doesn't even work because ROTJ explicitly explains Palpatine's goals, he wants to end the Rebellion in one fell swoop and corrupt Luke like his father before him. He's there on the Death Star II personally because of his hubris and his belief that everything's going to work out just as he planned.Snoke apparently has no motivation in TLJ other than just clowning on Kylo and Rey, which he didn't even do in the previous movie so it's like he's a completely different guy.
>>217405314HEA
>>217414235There's the clone wars CGI one as well.
>>217414535Probably still just seething that people put more thought into the character than he did.

>>217420458>I heard it had something to do with kissing a girl, but nobody here knows anything about that either.Well yeah, that sounds gay as hell, so who would admit to that?
>>217419273I actually liked this retort, it shows the irrationality of her position (yet still holds truth), which sets her a great motive as the antagonist of the story
>>217420586I actually didn't mind that scene or their later interactions, and that's exactly what I took from it. She's gone right off the fucking deep end and Strange knows it.Her having a real world irrational woman motivation is actually a good thing. Like I say though Strange should have been more explicit in her diagnosis when telling other people what they were up against, to clue the audience in as well. That foetal abduction shit happens in the US every two years or so and there's a big news story about it. Everyone is creeped the fuck out. Pregnant women are afraid it could happen to them. Then everyone forgets about it until the next time. And that's not even counting women trying to snatch infants out of cars in a Walmart parking lot, but obviously the same kind of major malfunction. The scariest part is the elaborate planning and premeditation, along with the fact these women aren't considered actually 'insane' by any medical definition. It was ever so and long known about. Most people don't remember, but that's why King Solomon ordered the baby cut in half in the Bible story. One bitch stole the other bitch's kid. Whatever you believe in relation to that, it is apparently a known female behaviour even thousands of years ago.

These Somalian trash, both terrorists and civilians alike, were truly trash humans with low IQ.The US should've never came to that land. The UN should've never provided any aid to those piece of scum people. This is the first time I had an absolute contempt for an entire race.

Why is the Sopranos and Breaking Bad the only remembered big budget television shows that have cultural impact while every other big budget television show gets memory holed?
>>217417360The fact that the show has constant tension and forward momentum with minimal filler makes it one of the most rewatchable shows. What the fuck are you on about?

>>217420673the thing is, even if its solid I just dont find black gangsters interesting. I feel like the mafia is cool as fuck and are funny, i find the cartel stuff in BB/BCS cool despite how terrifying the cartel are, but I just dont seem interested in african american crimes. They all speak in a cringe way, they all live in shitholes, they are all unappealing, their crimes just feel evil and fucked over feeling cool and empoweringim not even some /pol/tard, I just want to know how they could turn that and make it appealing cause i really have no interest in african american crimes and drama. They work better when they act cool as fuck like samuel jackson from pulp fiction
>>217420673You're overreaching, i would agree that all characters have *an* arc, but its not really what the show is about. Its all very superficial and is there mostly just to keep the crew of GETTING BACK TOGETHER A ONE LAST TIME.The Sopranos has characters with arcs, some even have multiple over the seasons. The Wire is more of a study of systems, goverment, police, socio economic factors and of course : bureocratic inevitability.
