I wish there was an edit of the Japanese version that still had Jessie, Meowth, Misty, and James still in English. Also the Japanese version has a better soundtrack.

God, I remember watching this movie soon after it came out, and even then I completely disagreed with the
>college should just be fun and do whatever you want man
message they tried to push towards the end. Apparently I was one of the few, since tons in my generation still have debt for their feminist literature studies degree.
>>
College has become extremely devalued because you seem to require a degree for everything except the lowest skill wagie job.
Boomers offload the training they used to get on the job to colleges, and rake in huge money from student loans.
It's a massive scam, especially right now when all the classes you can possibly get in college is freely available online.

You can't prove subjective things like who is the better author. Both of them are shit btw, and having any kind of reverence for Tolkien is a surefire way to demonstrate you didn't actually read any of his mindnumbingly boring LotR books (The Hobbit is a great children's book though).

at some point there was so much nudity and sex scenes in U.S Media that they created a website to keep track of that.

Now every scene is either European or Filipino.

what happened?

Honestly the beginning of the end was "PG-13" adult magazines like Maxim, celebrities were more open to sexy photoshoots instead of full nudes during the Playboy heyday. Even before the 2010s wokeness era I knew something was wrong when Olivia Munn posed non-nude for Playboy

The Bone Temple is a kino Gnostic movie. Think about it. Samson is like Adam (he's even named after a Biblical figure), he's brought out of a state of nature into a state of humanity by Dr. Ian Kelson who gives him a "fruit" (anti-psychotic medication in the film) that lifts the veil from his eyes and suddenly he has knowledge of what he really is. Dr. Ian Kelson is even called Satan in the movie, just like the serpent in the garden was. But he also is sacrificed, similar to Jesus. Jesus and the serpent are one and the same in Gnostic myth. Samson also reminds me a lot of Enkidu in the Epic of Gilgamesh. He even looks like Enkidu (and anyone with knowledge of history knows that the Epic of Gilgamesh inspired the Book of Genesis since Enkidu = Adam).

>I know better than actual historians
Oh ok retard. The whole structure of the primeval history (Genesis 1-11) follows exactly that of Mesopotamian mythology. Jews were clearly lifting from the Mesopotamians when crafting their myths which is something literally all human cultures do. The film being discussed in this thread is actually basically an example of that when you consider the parallels between it and the Bible. Not surprising seeing that it was produced by a historically Christian culture.

>Yeah, but you say that about everything.
I want to disagree, but almost everything is shit now. So I could say it about something I haven't even see the trailer for and I'd be right.
Though to be fair, I mostly warned people against watch Alien Earth because I don't want Disney thinking the franchise is viable. Do you really want Alien to go the way of Star Wars or Marvel? The fact that it's their first shot at a TV show and they immediately pumped out something Acolyte tier doesn't bode well.

>New York City architect Tate (Jake Gyllenhaal) tries to rebuild his life after a stint in a psychiatric facility following a spiral triggered by his sister’s death. Looking for a fresh start, he lands in Cape Cod to design a summer home for his best friend. While staying at a historic local Bed & Breakfast, his life changes when he meets Wren (Phoebe Dynevor), a mysterious young woman who has Tate questioning everything about his carefully measured, logic-driven existence.
