Even with how many Batman movies there are, none of them feel like they really "get it." They always have something missing. After so many attempts it's a shame none are totally successful at getting the character

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 1 & 2 are the only truly great cape flicks.but X2 and Batman Returns comes close. Idk what it is but I think there's a certain level of humanity missing from all the rest and Raimi has a good sense for action at least in the first two movies and those small horror moments he did in them were all good too and really makes them stand out especially today. They have their own identity.
