lifting gets more important the older you get, its pretty much as important if not more important as saving/investing for retirement. everyone I knew kept making stupid remarks about me keep lifting throughout my 20's and 30's but now that they are in their 40's they realize they have to start otherwise they end up on a life long medication plan. starting in your 40's is a lot more difficult than just maintaining your gains. he is right about that part and mostly about the rest as well.
