Does anyone even like shows about musicians trying to further their music career? It's just such an uninteresting plot. Why should I care whether or not these faggots get a record deal? It's a singing show, I'll still get to hear all their music anyway. Also I don't even understand why the characters care so much. If you want to make movies or vidya you actually need a contract because you need a team and money. But if you're in a band you don't need to get greenlit to make your art. You can just make as much music as you want for free, any way you want.I also hate it when it's one of those kid's shows with an ensemble cast and they all get into a band together and it's 100% unrelated to the premise of the show. Like that happens in every fucking kid's show I swear and it's bullshit because the way it's portrayed is that it's like a normal and healthy thing for EVERYONE to be able to do.
