Hello coloured maiden of lands far away. I am a knight of the seven kingdoms funded by amazon prime. My pork sword glows when you are near.
>>217461085>James, don't do the pork sword
the dornish are meant to be a bit swarthy but that's just a straight up nogdisgusting
>>217461085you will NEVER get an all white cast set in westeros again

>>217460098The Lookout is a great movie. I completely forgot about it. Looper is another movie he's great in.
>>217459068is that the guy that plays Foggy Nelson? I might watch this.
>>217460098Mysterious Skin very good, but twink roles have a time limit. Andrew Garfield is in the same mode but does A1 acting to keep interest.
>>217456960Very emotionally open/vulnerable, but not really sexy enough to make the degen sex off-putting.
>>217460003plenty of minor celebs are living a comfortable life in a paid down house that isn't in LA because they're not stupid. Even Levitt probably at least has condo or something at least, it's not like he's Rourke.

>>217461574I’m from the PNW originally so I’m a big fan of rain and doom/gloom>>217461608it’s pretty slow but the location and score are kino for sure. vibes for days
>>217461686Love a slow but good movie. Like Blackcoats Daughter
>>217461729shieeeet that’s on my laptop and I haven’t watched it yet
>>217461779Nta but Blackcoat’s Daughter was quite memorable to me. A director’s first film and it was like a passion project. Across the River is like that too. Both films give me that vibe. Also, Longlegs looks like it took inspiration from Across the River with the Nicolas Cage character.

What a cinematic legend. What is your favourite Bill Murray film? Why? Mine is Groundhog's Day. The plot and acting are just extremely well done.

>>217460039Nah, never bought it. Bogdanovich carted out Karloff for a role that hints at his past, to be shot by a misguided young man. Does Murray have that weight (like Jerry Lewis for King of Comedy) to be a reference?
i really liked this moviethe setting is uniquelike victorian gothic but american
>>217453309I love how this would be perverted and creepy but NPH fag energy is like subtly repulsed by touching a foid, which cancels out the creepiness.

>>217461308That's the real Taylor, the pop star Taylor who is also deep and a tortured artist is who she wishes she was. She's not graceful. She's not deep. She's an awkward dork deep down
>>217461555Why would a billionaire drink out of a disgusting red solo cup? I haven't touched one of those in decades. Is it product placement? I say yes.
Does anyone have that clip from the new documentary series of Taylor playing with her tits during a rehearsal or something? Femcels keep joking that it’s her testing the nipple sensitivity of her new implants.
>forgives his wife for cheating on himI was enjoying this movie until then. I'm not sure why they had to make Mads a cuck but it took me out of the movie completely.
>>217461553To be fair, this is normal in Northern European culture
>>217461685Here's the whole thing about human experience: no one talks about what's going well. All literature, films, art, and whatnot - there's nothing that's just the mundane everyday make some eggs in a nest and give your cat a kiss on his fuzzy little head. It's all cheating and murder and existential despair and faffing about. Real dark matter of life stuff.

BUCKET RESIDENCE, LADY OF THE HOUSE SPEAKING
>>217454994>>217456214>>217452958just make the cast all blackthe lady of the house is ttriyng to get to royalty status but her sister lives in an 80s crackhouse, meanwhile the brother-in-law is just Redd Foxx saying all kinds of stupid Norman Lear shit>oh wait this is just The Jeffersons
>>217461617>just make the cast all blackdead on arrival. Even in a western country with a high black population (USA), making an all black cast flops. No one is interested unless its Tyler Perryits weird because black population Britain gets massively over represented
>>217461665I think the "must represent the blacks" part is influenced by American media, like British productions think it's necessary to be "modern".
>>217461665in the UK I loved fresh prince of bel air and everybody hates chris when I was a kid. Good writing is good writing, but yeah that doesn't sound like good writing
>>217461780I guess its common to identify something as genuine and passionate from its creator.. to a bunch of managers/agents making something to tick a box
According to Mike Stoklasa, this is the best episode of DS9? Do you agree?
>>217460431I don't think the episode was ever designed to be that. It has the pretext of that ("the crew has to solve games") but there is the external component which appears to have an entirely different influence on who lived/died. The rules are also never explained or what Quark actually won. Not even Quark knows what he's doing. He's just guessing and confused. I think the point of the episode is meant to be a weird horror plot, where outside, random forces can fuck up your life (perhaps even that stupid people can fuck your life up with seemingly trivial decisions they make), but you still have some agency as a person to work through this (mostly).

>>217461532She wasn't disabled, she was an allegory for disability. Her lifestyle was not incompatible for Bashir's, it was just demanding. Similar to how his "normal" lifestyle was for her. He was willing to humor and put in a little bit of work to pull back the curtain but once that novelty wore off, he decided it was too much effort and disruptive that he bailed. It's similar to a guy who starts learning sign language to try and date the cute deaf girl, only to find out how sign language takes work, being with someone who is deaf is work, and losing all attraction instantly. The guy is extremely emotionally immature despite his age, and what his background ought to have tampered down. He's an autistic manchild who shouldn't be since he's also someone who has spent his entire life learning to mask. I am glad they adjusted his personality afterward. I do agree with Rich that I miss his more jovial attitude in the later seasons. Him being upbeat and goofy despite the war going on should have been a character trait the whole way through.
>>217461735>get pregnant by a guy on the same show as you >don't even get married >relationship seems to end amicably The odds of that must be a billion in one among people in showbusiness.
I imagine there would be much more hype around this show if we didn't know we would have to wait 2 more years for another nothingburger season like Severance

Just finished his filmography last night. Pretty decent stuff. not a fan of the pagan and latin screaming though. overall a fine director. Do you think the dog lover is gonna make his magnus opus with "werewulf" or will it be his worst piece yet?
