Why is Heated Rivalry so popular in Russia?
>>217476915Is this a bot reply? Why the fuck did it bring up China?
>>217474587>discovered*founded, probably before you were born

It would be cooler if they were fighters.

Why don't we see asian lead characters in hollywood movies?
Asian cinema is already a big thing to the point where movies from Asia regularly end up well-known in the west for many decades now. Thus no real push for muh representation
>>217480550Yeah hollywood isn't in Asia, hope this helps.

Star Trek is dead
Wait. The reason certain Alpha Quadrant species can interbreed is because they share common ancestry with the Progenitors. Why is there a half-Klingon/half-Jem'hadar when the Jem'hadar are a genetically engineered species from the Gamma Quadrant?
>>217469377Serious question, why did libs love this fat loser so much? Im not making a joke or anything, Im genuinely curious why she was such a thing for them

Wasn’t very luxurious
>>217477679That or it's easier to round up old non-working actors on the cheap. Why pay for Nicholas Hoult when you can have Fraiser for free?
>>217478258>Nicholas HoultHe's under contract with DC. There's many reasons why the old cast is more viable than the zoomer replacements. To pretend it's because the old films were superior is just disingenuous.
>>217477794I always figured that was supposed to establish him as a serious threat. Like, here, watch the villain kill the character whose specific power is not dying.
>>217477719I yearn for Kevin Bacon performances, same with Matt Dillon (Wild Things is a masterpiece for that reason, among others...) They both could have been as big as Leo or Brad Pitt but were a decade too old.

>>217480046Giallo has the same issue as italian horror as a whole. You get a few kino moments but have to slog through long stretches of nothingburger to get to them.
>>217480339You admire the tight plots, music and intrigue. Have you seen any giallos outside of the top 10? >Lizard in Womans Skin>Puzzle>the Killer Reserved Nine SeatsA lot of the Hammer and old universe movies had that issue too. But I don’t mind it much. Everyone once in a while, you will find giallos that really stand out. >Death Walks on High Heels
>>217476488dude it's 4.7/10 on imdb. no way it's going to be good esp with childern actorsREC is 7.4 and good
>>217480326This was okay. Not a bad time killer. Didn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth.
>>217480607It was good. Watch it before bringing up user reviews or even critic reviews. It is one of my favorite Spanish horror and I have seen lots. Don’t even bother with other people’s opinions. Just watch it.
Der Jude
God she was so hot. Ever since I saw Episode II I've fantasized about having a beautiful girlfriend and sitting in a field and laughing like Anakin and Padme did on Naboo. They probably could've lived happily ever after if Anakin didn't chud out and reveal his power level that day.

Watched it with my wife. We really like the main actor and the little kid. We have already decided it is better than anything Westeros related since season 3 of thrones. It was too short though. Need longer episodes :(
It was ok. Kinda boring and forgettable
The ASoIaF main series books are quite funny in retrospect, it's almost impossible to even think of the series without the fan theories and meta speculation. The show took false theories and ran with them and GRRM's mind has been so corrupted by fanfic and adaptations that he can't even remember that his canon book series is nowhere near as exciting as is made out.It really is just a dull bog standard fantasy series. The magic of the GoT TV show was the speculation, no series has ever fit the TV show format better than GoT because the magic of bullshit theorycrafting every week, has NOTHING to do with GRRM.
>>217480587>It was ok. Kinda boring and forgettable>reeeeee I need dragons and white walkers and a battle every episodeFuck off. Your what killed GOT.
>>217480597>The magic of the GoT TV show was the speculation, yes because the fan theories were better than what D&D gave us
What the fuck did I just watch?
>>217480143>Yes, Roadside Picnic (1972) by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky and Annihilation (2014) by Jeff VanderMeer are closely related philosophically, as both works explore the profound, existential terror of encountering a truly alien force that breaks down human understanding of reality. You zoomers have no depth and just hang out in the kiddie pool getting brain rot, just swiping that tik tok. Need AI to tell you what's what.
One of garlands worse things at the time it came out. It's not terrible but undwehelming and predictable and sets up a strange setting but never really cashes in on it. Also, it's a allegory for cancer. Seriously
