How did 3 midgets kill a full grown man? Completely illogical nonsense. That guy would of killed those 3 little people within 60 seconds in real life.

it's not an alternate reality. It's the always-planned continuation of the series. They needed to add a silly underworld scene so morons like you wouldn't complain about "how da guy bak alive and show continue afta 10 yars?! this impossible!" They knew you would endlessly whine as usual since you're such simple people.
>>
>>217273516
So they inserted one single out of place mystical resurrection scene rather than a continuation of mystical themes occurring
>>
>>217269033
Yes, turns out shows can still be good while having black characters, shockingly.

What was up with all the Christmas trees and lighting in Eyes Wide Shut? They're in dam near every scene, so clearly they must have some kind of thematic or symbolic significance.

As far as I can tell all it does it make you invisible and extend your lifespan.
Gandalf implies that it has some unspecified power that he can use to great effect, yet apparently no other characters can make use of it in that way.
So what's the big deal?

>if Frieren got the Ring?
I have never seen her show, so her visibility to me would be unchanged
>>
>>217265049
The ring doesn't so much make you invisible as it pulls you into the "Unseen realm". Beings like Sauron and Gandalf, as well as the Elves, are already part of the Unseen realm as well as the real world. Humans, Hobbits (which are actually an offshoot of humans) and some others only exist in the Real world, so they get pulled into the Unseen realm and it makes them invisible.
>>
>>217266957
Yeah because that was ever one of Sauron's powers, retard

Control. That's the main power of the ring. To control others. Sauron created it to control the other rings of power and to amplify his own capabilities (He used the One Ring in Numenor while corrupting Ar-Pharazon, and his power by them as such that he managed to transport it from the botton of the ocean when Numenor was sunk).
With mortals it does have a side effect of transporting the user partially to the "unseen" world (guess Tolkien means some kind of afterlife or spiritual world). But men (and thus hobbits) can direct it, to the limit of their wills and beings, to control (Tolkien stated that if the Nazgul managed to reach Mount Doom, they wouldn't be able to attack Frodo or seizing the ring from him, since Frodo was using the ring for control. While Frodo wouldn't be able to totally control the 9 (since Sauron directly controled them via their rings which he held) he would had control enough to stop them from commiting violence against him).
Isildur, Aragorn, Denethor or Boromir would had used the ring as a charisma and leadership booster if they had the time and intent of mastering it. Being like Gandalf, Saruman or even Galadriel would just turn into Sauron 2.0.
The One Ring is all about control and will.

How would a fascist europe or america be good for russia? The current regime in the west is literally committing ethnic and cultural suicide. To defeat it you simple have to do nothing; not interrupt an enemy making a mistake. The idea that russia is afraid of the west so it's agitating for its rise back to power is self-evidently retarded.

I've only seen the first two seasons. The reason why the Nazis and Kempeitai are more interesting is because the novelty factor lies entirely with those two factions. Japs and Nazis presiding over the US is something you don't typically see, so that's interesting. The resistance movement is extremely generic, it's every French resistance story you've ever seen repackaged as an American resistance without gaining anything along the way. It doesn't help that Frank and Julia are permanently miserable and frowning.
>>
>>217274234
This. The internal politics of the Reich/external politics with the Japanese Empire were much more interesting than the scrappy band of resistance fighters trying to topple them

I seriously hate the modern dating landscape in the U.S. If you date younger women everyone acts like you’re a pedophile except the 25-28 year old girl you’re dating. If you hook up with an older woman and don’t clamor to give her a relationship, they treat you like you’re Harvey Weinstein that somehow used Jedi mind tricks to get them to fuck you several times. Is there any country not like this? If things don’t work out with this girl I’m with, I’m rich and I’ll move.

Kate Mara's The Dutchman has her seduce a guy for 20 mins, has her boob pop out of dress, and then has her character stop the guy from taking off her dress during the sex scene. It was a prime example of how nudity would elevate a film.
