The demand for this seems lowers than the demand was for the Snydercut. For example, say they canned the entire story, there wouldnt be a worldwide effort to get it continued.

>I gotta be honest, it definitely was a thing that... after Man of Steel finished and we started talking about what would be in the next movie, I started subtly mentioning that it would be cool if he faced Batman. In the first meeting, it was like, "Maybe Batman?" Maybe at the end of the second movie, some Kryptonite gets delivered to Bruce Wayne's house or something. Like in a cryptic way, that's the first time we see him. But then, once you say it out loud, right? You're in a story meeting talking about, like, who should [Superman] fight if he fought this giant alien threat Zod who was basically his equal physically, from his planet, fighting on our turf... You know, who to fight next? The problem is, once you say it out loud, then it's kind of hard to go back, right? Once you say, "What about Batman?" then you realize, "Okay, that's a cool idea. What else?" I mean, what do you say after that? ...But I'm not gonna say at all that when I took the job to do Man of Steel that I did it in a subversive way to get to Batman. I really believe that only after contemplating who could face [Superman] did Batman come into the picture.

>Studios love it.

No western streaming service is profitable. None.

They tried to put movies on streaming first during Covid and it lost them so much money they stopped immediately.

Anime or cheap TV shows can be profitable on streaming. 200 million $ movies can't.

Snyder is a liar. He wanted Batman but WB wasn’t going to let him use him. They were holding out hope with Nolan involved in MOS they could get Bale to come back. After MOS was a critical disaster and got terrible word of mouth the WB panicked. Batman vs Superman script had been around for decades. Wolfgang Petersen wrote it and Snyder used a lot of stuff from his script. Batman was older and everyone he knew was dead. Alfred, Robin, Catwoman. Clark was divorced from Lois and was hooking up with Lana. Their showdown was going to be similar to Dark Knight Returns where they beefed over their political personal

The first season is but it becomes weaker with every consecutive one, more unfocused. You know how some shows create a build up and anticipation and then fail at the very end to live up to all those promises? Well, this is like that... in no way. It´s more like it uses everything it had on the first season but then someone told it it was not a race but a marathon.

Yes, very observant. When actresses do photoshoots, they treat the photographer as a film director, often asking what their character's motivation is?

For example, Millie was asked to portray a girl chewing gum and I think she fucking nails it! What an actress!

Boxing movies are anti-pornography.
The build up is always more interesting than the climax, and all the most exciting parts happen above the belt.

The Rocky movies have awful boxing choreography. Even martial art slop like Undisputed has better boxing.

If you break it down into it's simplest form, wrestling is a collection of stories about larger than life personalities battling each other for glory, fame, fortune, love and everything in between. It's the modern day equivalent to ancient epics. It's harder for me to grasp that you cannot understand something so basic and primal. Maybe you refuse to even try.

>Wayward whisks viewers to the seemingly idyllic town of Tall Pines, a place where sinister secrets lie just beneath the surface. When police officer Alex Dempsey (Mae Martin) and his pregnant wife Laura (Sarah Gadon) move to town, they encounter two desperate students, Abbie (Sydney Topliffe) and Leila (Alyvia Alyn Lind), from the local “troubled teen” school. As Alex digs deeper into a series of unsettling incidents, all signs point toward Evelyn (Toni Collette), the school’s enigmatic leader
