Why did no one tell me this show was kino?
Do you think they'll give Neagley an ounce of sex appeal in her show even though she's asexual? Her actress has an amazing body and is a former model. I feel like one of the core components of being a female spy is having sex appeal. How else do you market to boomers?
>>219448811As long as his politics isn't in his show, I don't see a problem .
>>219447260did reacher ever tell her how smart she is?
>>219450039SameIt’s similar to how people on the far left seethe about Chris Pratt because he holds conservative views. I don’t give a shit about thatBut some people will unironically scan a list of actors to see what side of the political spectrum they’re on and proceed to not watch films with them in it. Even if they’re not extremists. So they end up not allowing themselves to consume at least 50% of media because their brain is in full political poison mode. It’s almost always Americans that do this, and it’s from both the left and the right. It’s baffling

>>219446502I remember really liking it as a kid, but I haven't seen it since then
>>219446502I added its listing to imdbI've never seen itIs it any good
>>219450969It's pretty good. The jokes are actually funny unlike a lot of animated junk from the 2000s and the mocap uncanniness adds to the horror atmosphere though probably unintentionally.
genuinely enjoyable movie despite how ugly it is
As a deeply closeted southern gay boy I loved it. Still remember how mad my psychotic religious mom got near the end when the hunky jock is revealed to be gay.
>zero cultural impactWoah.. Stallone just ain’t what he used to
>>219423797I watched season 1. Good aura, shit plot. All you really need are the memes
>>219439189his first girlfriend was hot in a almost tranny way but still hot shame she got shit canned and we never saw her nude
>>219423797Don't blame Stallone. Streaming TV shows rarely leave a mark on culture; they're just slop to be consumed and forgotten.
>>219423797>zero cultural impact not related to Tulsa King, but this is sth that can be said about almost any show these days. I have no idea how TV shows could even be culturally relevant. There are so many of them, they are so easy to miss, and then when you catch them, there are also kind of weak and just not impactful. For example, I just binged Animal Kingdom, I loved it. But that is a 6 seasons show, with a compelling plot, loads of sex, interesting characters, and generally high rates. And nobody cares. 0 threads here. No memes or shorts popping up. Compare it something like Sopranos. I see so many clips of Sopranos weekly that I basically catch entire episodes in 30 sec intervals. I am not even complaining, just thinking how irrelevant shows are these days.

Anyone able to recommend some kinos from the late 70s and very early 80s that take place in the US? I don't even really care about plot or whatever, I just want to see a lot of places and people of that time period. So far Dawn of the Dead, French Connection and The Blues Brothers have had the kind of thing I'm looking for but I want more.Like I said, I don't care about plot.
>>219450605Great thanks for your opinion anon.
>>219449861Problem with that is they wasted all the best gags on the trailer. I always thought the sequel was funnier.
>>219450802> I always thought the sequel was funnier.
Unless you were in some crime filled black area, 80s was peak time to live anywhere else in the usa (born 1972 here)
>>219452042the anon further up seems to think the whole US was a nightmare in the 70s

And my waifu just died. Pretty bummed but I will continue for the time being as I'm still enjoying the story. I'm aware that most people think the series eventually went to shit, and I remember seeing some webms here from the later seasons that look really fucking stupid, how much longer before I should give it up?
>>219450692I can't really remember the specifics but there was a one episode character that somehow got killed by a completely prone walker that was under a sheet as well. I think they just leaned over it for a second and immediately fell over when it came to life and got killed.

It's really cute and the music is great. Sad it took nearly 40 years for it to blow up.And in 2015, no one on /tv/ really gave a shit.Reminds me of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Crispin Glover's Clowny Clown Clown
