ITT: Mainstream actors you don't see the appeal of.Will Ferrell has never been funny in his entire life. Elf, Old School, and that movie with John Reilly (step brothers?) are just horrendously unfunny.
>>219237688low class african americans who are absolutely fucking unable to function within the boundaries of normal society or basic human decencyit's occasionally funny but it's incredibly stressful to watch.
>>219233364>(step brothers?)Like you didn't know that.

>almost dies to a mega jobber who only fought slaves why did denis make paul such a bitch? feyd doesn't even cheat here unlike in the book
>>219241199>there are absolutely no hints that feyd is prescientRetard did you forget that he says he's dreamed of Lady Margot? Like someone else mentioned, his whole introduction in Part Two parallels Paul's in Part One.
>>219241161i know that , that's not what the other anons are saying >>219241170no, read the post i quoted above. he was supposed to create the KH (like leto did)>>219241185you called him an almost KH. being the father of a KH doesn't mean anything, that's what leto was
>>219241232>>219241240i honestly forgot that part, that makes even less sense. so his mom is BG in the movie? it sounds more like denis fucked the script up because they still want to use him to create the KHbut if he's prescient then it means that he's an attempt at a KH himself, so who did that?
>>219241328>so who did that?ur mum
>>219241272>you called him an almost KH. being the father of a KH doesn't mean anything, that's what leto wasLeto wasn't supposed to be that, and Paul is arguably imperfect. Beyond that, there's strong implication that the Harkonnen line is more important for the Kwisatz Haderach, who was supposed to be three quarters Harkonnen. Also, Leto was pretty awesome.
Did no-one really not think to attack the spindly legs until Hoth?
>>219240981It's a movie. They were designed to look cool.
>>219241143So much this. These movies were made to entertain children, not appease sociopathic human meat calculators who sit around obsessing over every fuckign detail because they have no friends or family.
>>219241168Look, I hate star wars but enough with the personal attacks man.
>>219241116Artillery and anti-armor weapons existIt's also weak in the underbelly area
Hoth was the first battle led by Black scientists and middle-age lesbians.
Capeshit saved theaters as you know them. You should be grateful, curs
>>219240424>>219240577>>219240701>Opie starts with a half-baked shit take thread designed to get people maximally engaged in refuting him>Engages just slightly with the first few posters, usually just to prod slightly>Hardline sticks to his gunsWhat do you call this particular brand of trolling? What causes it? Is it autism? Is it the CIA attempting to make boards less interesting?
>>219240147Capeshit was inevitability.the culmination of "the business model".Its not whats keeping theatre alive. Its whats "killing theatre".and that is precisely Streaming servicesWell technically it was piracy which streaming solved.the normalization of anxiety and isolation notwithstanding.capeshit was also a symptom of a truly globalized market for movies where each capeshit movie had different changes according to what nation it was in. China is doing alot of heavy lifting in the theatre market now with their growing middle class. but that could just be chinese propaganda.every time ive went to the movie theatre i see families or groups of kids too young to drink. im usually that guy alone at the threate. Rarely ever come across one of my kind. That could be becuase i live in a small city though.
Yes and noI live in a city of population of 10k people. There is no other cinema in 60kms, so I decided to open one in 2008It was semi successfull, I was able to mantain the cinema and I was able to pay the bills and go on a holiday, with 3 screenings a day. There were times when I had to cancel the screening because there were only like 5 people showing up, the biggest movies like Avatar 1 had like 80% occupancy for the first day, then it went back to 40%-50%Then the golden age of capeshit came, I remember Avengers 1, we were fully booked for a week. Really great times. Every single movie which wasnt capeshit had like 50% attendance, capeshit was always around 80-90, even fully booked on release day. I decided to screen only Endgame every single day for a week, we were always full. The decline started around the Rami Dr. Strange. Opening night had 80%, then it started to plummet. Spiderman no way home was an expectipon (but that was the new movie after covid ended), but still. I remember I had to cancel the Marvels once because there were only 7 people. People dont really care now, Project Hail Mary had pretty good numbers with 70-80% attendance, Thunderbolts was around 50%-60%, Nigger america was around 40%-50%
>>219241195>I live in a city of population of 10k people. There is no other cinema in 60kms, so I decided to open one in 2008Would you say it's worth it? My town doesn't have any theaters and I fucking love going to the movies. Now seems like a fucking desert of good movies though.

Are these two fantasy series worth watching? How do they hold up in 2026? They were big in the 1990s, but what about them would be so different to newer fantasy series in recent years?

ITT: actors that you thought would have been more famous but fizzled out
>>219240159>-The Power of the DogIn which she was a minor supporting role who, again, was not a "timid or shy girl who was secretly hot", she was just a pleasant maid. >-The KingAlso not in this film very much, and also not a "timid or shy girl who was secretly hot" character.>-EileenThis film is from like two years ago so what exactly is the supposed range for "early films" that you were claiming she played the same role in? You straight up ignored Leave No Trace even though it was her first role to get her noticed internationally and get cast in films like Jojo Rabbit that were more mainstream. You're just flailing around her filmography now. How many of these films you're naming have you actually seen? It seems like just Last Night In Soho.
>>219212963She’s past that age now. So many stupid White women either forego kids entirely or have them with other races. Stupid bitches have made the world more niggardly and muslimized in the past 20 years and are dooming the whole planet as a result. They are the one race of women who should’ve never been given personal rights. And miscegenation for them and with them should’ve been banned with a death sentence.

easy. they see my dick and it gets awkward, then they leave.
>>219239616I could kill Ana De Armas with a single strike. She wouldn’t stand a chance.
>>219239616I must have masturbated to this movie a dozen times, the threesome is the hottest sex scene in cinema.
>>219241073I love how literally nobody saw the movie and thinks they just fuck him and go on their way while ignoring the part where they stab him, torture him with an electrical cord, then send out fake news that he got cucked and his wife cheated on him with his assistant, the literally bury him alive and almost kill him
Is he really a pedophile or were the claims unsubstantiated?
>>219240828Isnt pedo the greek word for feet?

>>219240866it is latin for little boy
>>219240814You can tell in the way Quiet on Set was framed that he hadn't really done anything that bad. No bombs regarding him really dropped. I will say he was obviously a porn addict, but who cares? Lots of people are these days. You can see it in some of his behavior like when he told that one stupid writer bitch to make her pitch while pretending she was getting fucked in the ass. Only a coombrain would be thinking sexually enough about everything to request someone do that.
>>219240814Much like Michael Jackson, there's too many patterns of behavior for me to conclude that he doesn't have boundary issues with teens and children, but never went far enough to actually put him away for it.
