I did shrooms for the first time about a year ago after spending my entire life being afraid of them, it's my favorite altered state experience that I've ever had.

I expected to have some bad freak out, because I've got horrific anxiety due to reasons I won't get into here, and weed just makes me uncomfortably paranoid for that reason, but mushrooms were a wholly positive experience. It's hard to explain, but it felt like my mind jumped to a different track, if that makes any sense, and my mental approach to everything was different, in a positive way. My friend came into contact with people who were less than six degrees of separation from him. That’s a fair point. I probably shouldn’t have used the Buddha’s name. But I am familiar enough with Buddhism to come to the conclusion that a lot of people who claim to be Buddhists are deluded about certain things. The idea that we’re supposed to not have egos in our daily lives and not see hierarchies is delusional. When you’re in meditation you let go of differences, but when you return to worldly life you have to see differences and engage in hierarchical thinking.
