I wouldn't recommend that because the whole fun of the game is exploration, but to get past bosses if that's not your thing it's totally something you can do. The world is very much worth exploring if you're a fan of Berserk. I was a FromSoft fan and then read Berserk and it's such a good manga, I just want to introduce more fans of one IP to the other.
If they ever try it should be an animated series (not anime) about the shattering war or even major events before. Live action will 100% be a disaster.
