I was thinking about this earlier today.
After 3 films he’s pretty much exhausted the Miami aesthetic. Idk where else he could go. There’s only so many strippers and palm trees. Maybe the Terrence Malick scripted project he mentioned could be a much needed palette cleanser

Spring is the best. A nice balance of commercial film with avant garde ironic weirdness with a layer of Malick/Mann slathered over it. Beach Bum and Aggro are total opposites of the spectrum. Bum being the most straight forward and commercial, Aggro going full retard experimental troll film
