Why, yes Jay, it is nice up here.
>>
>spend 45 minutes humiliating yourself for yummy wummy #adrevenue
I don't know why Mike hates being a YouTuber so much he's great at it.
>>
>>200696160
Because he wanted to be a film director until he found out he has no passion for it and is just another fat slob watching movies.
They all thought making films was what they wanted, but it's clear whenever they talk about making Space Cop that it was a terrible, unfulfilling experience and they get no joy out of creative expression.
Mike has nothing to live for except collecting Star Trek props now. It's too late for another dream.
>>
>>200696338
He realized you can't really make movies in Wisconsin but he's too proud to go suck up to studio execs in Hollywood.

Just a shout out to Len Kabasinski who made movies while working at Pet Smart. Like, they could have had the best of both worlds.
>>
>>200696338
Space Cop isn't a film tho. Just a shitty Youtube skit.
>>
>>200696735
The thing is it's even worse than that, movies that started off as "youtube skits" have been stepping stones for talented people to make "le heckin real" movies.

Sounds like everyone their age. Dumbasses who think they're so smart that most professions are easy until they actually try them out. Then cope and make excuses about it most of the time.
>>
>>200696101
They're just angry because more people hate the sequels than prequels.
>>
>>200700228
And that nobody likes the soft gloves sequels Plinket video.

make a movie about milwaukee bar and alcohol culture and be as cynical and depressing as you can be about it. just gotta use teh tools youre given right
>>
>>200700612
the ghostbusters one was better even and that one gets outshadowed by the half in the bag review. i think that is where jay drops the "charismatic as hell " line, which makes it even funnier.

Seriously, what the fuck is Mike problem?

didn't Mike knock up that one redheaded slampig

He's just furious when he sees people point out plot holes in Disney shows while there are starving children in Africa, I agree with him. It's pathetic.

The rumors of Mike breeding Jessi four to six times are unsubstantiated and hold as much weight as the rumors of Jay attending a special club during his LA trip.

Correction, the people who popularized autistic levels of movie nitpicking on YouTube are now telling other people to get a life for doing exactly that because they no longer care about Star Wars.

RLM are definition of fence sitters

The reason why people watch youtubers like Mauler or Nerdrotic is because these guys are open about their politics and their disdain for woke

RLM are populists. They will agree with what is the current climate. Unless it's the prequels of course. Then prequels fuck you.
>>
>>200705785
Which I literally do not care about because I'm not going to them for political content. I want them to talk about movies. None of the faggots you listed are worth my time.

Lefty sois.
Imagine thinking that ragetubers are actually any different from the woke crowd when they never call out the jew and are all libshit gobblers irl. Go back to plebbit.

lmao
also these movies are still seen as dogshit outside your reddit circle
>>
People seem to forget that Plinkett is a character. People also forget hacks like Critical Drinker were copying his whole gimmick before he become Mr anit woke grifter clown for money. The Plinkett reviews are also well written and funny. Something Mauler doesn't understand. Just nitpicking for endless hours is funny or entertaining. It becomes sad after while.
>>
>>200696101
fat retards
>>
>>200707503
The TLJ Plinkett was terrible. Mike struggles with critiquing nu-wars content because he's worried of coming off petty, or right-wing, it's pathetic.

Saying black people don’t watch Star Wars is a pretty shitty take though.
>>

>dilation station is just around that corner

I am not any kind of socialist so I don't need it.
>>
>>200703802
Just goes to show how far gone some of these Star Wars reviewers are now. The RLM prequel reviews have nitpicks, but most of the time is spent on covering the broader problems with the prequels and why they failed. That youtuber seething that some nobody directory 'doesn't understand Star Wars' because nonsense date X doesn't line up with other nonsense date Y on Wookipedia is so far from removed from anything important that it's even making the uhm ackshually RLM nerds cringe. He doesn't have the critical capacity to talk about actual problems with the writing being rushed or the dialogue being flat, but he's just gotta earn those rage grift bucks. It's pathetic
>>
>>200709708
He also ignores how half of the random resistance fighters are women too
>>
>>200696101
I haven't watched these hacks since 2020, what have they done now?

How was finn being black political?
Did star wars fans really give a shit a black guy was a stormtrooper especially after the clone wars.
>>
>>200711772
Because he was black
>>
What did they do now? I know /tv/ likes these dudes but i've seeing daily threads now
>>
>>200711833
We had brown clone troopers. Starwars that petty.
kek
>>
>>200711772
It's racial pandering according to Mike's logic from the prequel Plinkets (that he conveniently forgot about)

>They all thought making films was what they wanted, but it's clear whenever they talk about making Space Cop that it was a terrible, unfulfilling experience and they get no joy out of creative expression.

Which is penultimate amusing because they ALREADY EXPRESS THE HABIT TO BYPASS CRAP MOVIE DESIGN.

Ever been joking with your friends, and you realize, "DAMN! I SHOULD'VE RECORDED THAT MOMENT!"

That's how they should've fixed SPACE COP, in fact, that's EXACTLY how they should reshoot scenes to fix SPACE COP. The most precious moments in time are when you have genuine unforced belly laughs. When you can rewatch those moments and the joy of that instant is preserved for all time.

What do the REDLETTER BOYS do regularly? Record themselves laughing, sure plenty of fake laughs, but they do indeed genuinely make each other laugh for real or the audience would clue into it and reject it.

When they were shooting ideas for SPACE COP at each other, did they record the moments like they do their YouTube products? Can they genuinely remember what makes them honestly laugh?

If they cannot get past themselves, they can hire a storyboarder to try to recreate the scenes in visual form so the comicbook version has the same genuine numerous joys they intend to share. Not just cynical exploitation of the audience's desire to laugh, but callbacks to things the commenters love and unique humorous setups that comedy movies live off of. They have everything they need in SKILLSET to achieve a SPACE COP funny cut redo release. Decent editing skills, good cameras, excellent audio, a skilled cameraman. The rest is the magic of a honest sweet child mind playing with action figures and losing himself into imagination zones where the toys are people, his drawings are the backdrop scenery, and where the adventures are mostly like imagining a scene from a book or movie at a level that immersive VIRTUAL REALITY games haven't hit yet.

Beyond that it's all decent music soundtrack
