Boring piece of shit
>>

What it sets out to do is too theoretical: highlight the pov we usually don't see in slashers. It is a bit boring but still worth watching
>>
it was ok, certainly a good effort for the budget.
the kill of the slasher slayer ranger at the end was really fucked up and even kind of contemplative.

cool idea, executed poorly due to dull fuck canadians

utter trash

Not sure how you could do it properly and also keep a 1½ hour runtime, but this was without a doubt the dullest movie I've watched in years.

If you're watching it for the gore, there are better movies that serve that together with an actual plot.

but Psycho did do that and it was the first slasher

Showing the killer's POV isn't really the core idea, the film's more concerned with showing us long uninterrupted shots. Lots of aspect-to-aspect.
It's decently executed on a technical level but it's cargo culting techniques of better films without understanding why they work.

Vary the pact of action appropriately to build and release tension. Have characters lose/gain the upperhand using non-retarded writing
like that shit where the ranger hands the idiot the gun within arms reach of the killer
.

I liked it.

>Movie called In a Violent Nature
>Complains about the shots going too long showcasing nature
It's in the title of the movie, God damn
