Universal recently announced Dark Universe monster themed park. Fans are wondering what does it mean regarding Dark Universe movies. Dark Universe was supposed to serve as a shared universe for new versions of classic Universal monsters, however after bad reception of Tom Cruise blockbuster The Mummy, Universal decided to put the series on hold and focus on separate monster films.
