Saw it in AustraliaMaxime le Mal hates Gru because he stole his song (Karma Chameleon) at the 9th grade talent show at school. Gru calls him in prison to admit he stole the song and Maxime challenges Gru to another singing contest at the AVL prison talent show. They sing Everybody Wants to Rule The World in front of pretty much every villain from the franchise: Vector, El Macho, Balthazar Bratt, Scarlet and Herb Overkill (who have somehow not aged in 55 years), and the Vicious 6 (who have also somehow not aged in 48 years, even the fucking nun who should be a corpse by now). Also, Vector flosses.
Idiot, the director already said the despicable me movies specifically have a Simpsons type "frozen in time" thing that makes none of the characters age, this doesn't count for the minions.
