Hey, (You)!! I'll take my thread back..
>>
>>200803290
Not that his acting was ever great but his delivery of this line is comically bad. He definitely knew it was a stupid line for Brian and knew there was no way he could make it sound good.
>>
>>200804001
he died during the 7th movie and they green screened his face on his brothers body for the ending where they drive down different roads (he drove off leaving his wife and kind behind, btw)
>>
>>200804093
Rip was too good for this film.
>>200804195
>(he drove off leaving his wife and kind behind, btw
They were supposed to go with him, but that means Jordana Brewster doesn't get her Fastbucks so she was only gone for one film.
>>
>>200804195
Pretty crazy, i really do not remember him being around for so long. He made it to nearly 7 movies when i thought for sure he was gone by like 5 at the latest.
>>
>>200804195
Have they actually killed the character yet? I don't even know when I stopped watching these.
>>
>>200804309
Next movie it’ll be revealed that O’Conner had to get plastic surgery to infiltrate a terrorist racing car group or somesuch and that’s why he now looks like RYAN REYNOLDS
>>
>>200804309
They never killed Brian. He's "retired" from Family activities in favour of... well, family activities.
>>
>>200804309
hes not physically in the movies but he is still mentioned in the lore
>>
>>200803779
3 was the last fast and the furious movie. That was the peak.
>>
>>200803558
He was about to call him a Cunt
>>
3 is overrated, main character is fucking terrible and for being set in japan there isn't enough sexy japanese bitches.
>>
>>200804897
>main character is fucking terrible
Imagine being this wrong at life. He was the best main.
>>
>>200804897
I'm never going to understand people who claim it's the best one. They must be weebs.
>>
I used to think it was retarded when it went into goofy action shlock with 5 and on, but now i realize that's when it gets fun.
1 and 3 are okay as general street racing movies, but it's all pretty boring. The rock showing up is when it gets enjoyable.
>>
>>200803669
It's exclusive to the South and was mostly used during the early 2000s.
>>
>>200804309
The creators were respectful and didn't kill him off, just retired him. His character shows up in the ending of FF8.
>>
>>200804947
I'm quite antiweeb. He's the perfect meathead fast and furious lead and the movie is the most in the spirit of the original movie in the entire series. Moreso than the original even in some ways. It focuses so much on the cars and the racing and getting good at racing, the culture, etc.
Its like Need For Speed Underground the movie.
>>
2 is my personal favorite of the series next to three. I don't know why FF fans shit on 2, when it's a fun buddy cop style movie. I wish the villain came back in a later installment but he never did :(

3 > 2 (but I love 2 as much) > 5 > 1 >> 7 > 6 > 4 > Hobbes n shaw

Never cared to see anything else after 8 and 8 was a blur. Why did the series become a goofier mission impossible?
>>
>>200805121
I like 2 quite a bit but 3 is the peak. its 3 2 1 for me.

DRIVING THROUGH THE FLAMES TONIGHT

VINNNNYYYYY
>>
>>200803779
But who was drive?
>>
>>200805110
>and the movie is the most in the spirit of the original movie
TF&TF is about an undercover cop infiltrating a gang of truck hijackers with a boy racer back drop. It's a crime movie, not a car movie. Even the director doesn't think it's a car movie. Tokyo Drift is anime with cars.
>>

>>200805189
Absolute slop
>>
>>200805286
Well the director is clearly a retard who doesn't understand his own movie he made. What this anon said is absolutely true >>200805110
>It focuses so much on the cars and the racing and getting good at racing, the culture, etc.
That's what FF was all about from the very first movie. It was about the cars, it was about street racing, the culture, the people that participate, learning how to race, car tech and upgrades. The undercover cop shit literally is the back drop, that's the filler to facilitate the setting and set up.
>>
>>200805121
>I wish the villain came back in a later installment but he never did
There's probably a really boring reason for Cole Hauser not coming back, like, he just doesn't want to or being happy on Yellowstone, but I have my own schizo theories about why Verone was never revived. The series went in a very camp direction and he's far too sinister of a villain for it. Even the cartel villain from the 4th film wasn't as mean as him. He doesn't have the threatening but slightly silly factor, he's just threatening.

What do you do in this situation?
>>
>>200805489
well the one thing I'll give them is its a very "car movie" or "car game" storyline straight out of a Need For Speed Most Wanted or something. But thats how they establish a "normie" in the underground in those types of movies generally.
>>
Always found something really uncanny about paul walker in these movies. Hes got those psychopath eyes
>>
>>200805489
>Well the director is clearly a retard who doesn't understand his own movie he made.
He didn't. He outright said to the technical advisor "eh, car guys aren't gonna watch this."
That's why Jessie is talking absolute bollocks when he's looking at Brian's Eclipse and the reason for the infamous "MoTeC system exhaust" line.
>>
>>200804947
you got me.
I actually think my weeb brain was formed watching Tokyo Drift over and over again. Japan just looked so cool to kid me, and still does to adult me
I swear I'm gonna go early next year. I have the money, just need the time
>>
>>200805534
Mark Boone Junior was very red in this film.
>>
>>200805110
the only flaw it had, was putting a ricer 4 cylinder turbo engine in a fucking 50s mustang or whatever the MC's dad's car was. Blasphemy.

Otherwise completely agreed, love that film. It released at the perfect time just as the drift scene had begun to spread from Japan to the rest of the motor enthusiast world. It was a cultural phenomenon.
>>
>>200805977
Oh of course but again I put that up to being like in Need For Speed games for example how the guy always has an all black porsche or w/e

Its from the crips, because they're not allowed to say bro/bruh. They refuse to say anything with a b unless it has a k following it lmao. I'm not joking. If you call one bruh or bro they'll unironically kill you. The inverse applies to bloods. This is also the reason why senpai is a term, its considered neutral and acceptable to both groups
