Things got massively better in every aspect for SW5. Just look at Kurosawa films. No fancy spins. No jumping. Just sword fighting, and these films and style is exactly what Lucas was trying to copy, poorly. I'm not at all a fan of kendo (especially real tournaments; they're pretty fucking dumb for a lot of reasons) but it's easy to see how easily Lucas could've massively improved this scene by just doing a better job copying. By every conceivable measure, this sword fight was lame, and you are absolutely retarded for defending it.

There was that youtube video where someone remade this fight to be more dynamic and action-y and I thought it actually made it worse given the context the scene is inserted in. The one that made it to the actual movie wasn't great, but it somewhat works because the Vader x Ben fight really should be an understated fight so it doesn't detract from the main action at that time which was Leia's rescue.
