Twister was a massive hit. You don’t need the two stars from the original to carry it, especially when they never were going to work together again out of their dislike for each other. Plus, think about how Top Gun 2 was a hit. Many people do not go to the movies anymore because there’s no point, it’s gonna be on streaming or whatever soon enough.
