I just like this movie, a lot. I like putting it on and feeling like I'm part of it.
>>201663981says the dude who let /rhodes general/ dieshame on you
why do chuds like this midslop so much
>>201663981Based. That's a good way to watch something like that. I wonder if the soldiers and scientists ever set up a projector and watched old movies on the walls down there before things got too bad.
>>201664004THOSE ARE MY MEN IN THERE!!!!!>*synthesizer intensifies*
>>201663981One of the best movies ever made. Great soundtrack aswell.
I just love how hopeless the film feels.
>>201664237https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=219WdZYQCPI&ab_channel=AlanMillerThe soundtrack makes you think of many things in life, so legendary.
>>201664324I don't feel hopelessness, I feel catharsis of a corrupt system being destroyed by corruption itself. Some anons who can't think see Day as a trite zombie film and nothing else.
>>201664004Where does it say I gotta keep the general bumped next door to where I lurk?Where does it say I gotta do any one thing but post the Rhodes memes in this thread?
>>201664439Maybe if we tried posting together we could ease some of the tensions. We're all pulling in different directions.
>>201663981You have to be a real miserable bastard to prefer this movie over Dawn
>>201664680Dawn is cozy as fuck, But my older sister showed me this one first.
>>201664680Dawn is wonderful, but the effects and the story are shallow compared to Day.
>>201664724Did she let you get to second base?
>>201664573.... You got a few more bumps.A few more, I ain't sayin' how many...
>>201664810"much" phagit
>>201664780>Steel Laugh.
>>201664827Gotta fit the dialogue to the context
>>201664810Yes, sir! Fuck you, sir!
>>201664890JELLOOOOOOOoooooooooooo
>>201664909Why was Sarah so formal during an apocalypse?
>>201664930They are part of an elite government science team trying to save the world.Without order there is chaos.Frakenstein knew this.
>>201664680the shitty acting and badly painted zombies ruin it for me blue and purple zombies look retarded and most of them were drugged. making the zombies look and act ridiculous
>>201664930>Fuck you, sir!Might not be a bad idea...
>>201664985>and most of them were druggedWha?
>>201664988...give some of the jannys a chance at some lovin.
>So any y'all wanna discuss the bonus situation? I mean, why are you all down here if you ain't gettin' paid?
>>201664680Dawn is too hippie dippy. Day feels like Romero got older and more mature/conservative.
>>201665239They had access to every film and tv show ever made. And books. They were richly rewarded every day (night).
>>201665255>Dawn is too hippie dippy.Nta, but do you think it matters which version you watch? Sounds like the Dario version is more your speed and there's nothing wrong with that.
>>201665347The only version I ever saw was on VHS, so I guess the theatrical version. What do they change in the other cuts?
Night and Day are great for different reasons.Dawn is the most overrated boring 70s hippy slop I've ever seen.
>>201665475In the "Anniversary Edition" available only on an Anchor Bay dvd you get all of the scenes with the guy who played Rhodes at the docks, pretty much and is basically otherwise identical to the U.S. theatrical. Now, the Director's Cut not only has more scenes, but the soundtrack is different making it worse or even better depending on who you are. Then there's the "Euro Cut aka Dario Cut" where Romero had a deal where this other Italian guy got the right to re-cut the film into his own version with different scenes, yet another soundtrack (a good one too) and editing that facilitates a pure action film. Then finally there's an un-official cut that has everything possible placed in the correct order with someone's personal choice of a soundtrack.*and one more U.S. theatrical cut that cuts out some of the zombie kids getting shotYes, I like the film.
>>201665609And if I had to take one version and shove it up my asshole without so much as a second of preparation, which version would you recommend?
>>201665765Definitely the Anniversary Edition because the soundtrack is the most consistent and has all the best scenes and is a tight version of the film.
>>201663981this is the one where there's a zombie that shoots people? that's pretty silly but i liked the rest of it
>>201665475The Dario cut cuts most of the dialoge, so the movie doesn't make much sense. Feels more like a cumpilation cut.
