I would say this show most accurately reflected growing up during the 90s in a lower income (but not impoverished) household.The episode where the moms dress gets ruined felt like something that could have happened in my house.

I don’t know why so many people here idolize this show. It’s about white trash. Not even just in regards to the family’s financial state, as a whole they are just degenerate and obnoxious people.Obviously that’s the point, the show is largely making fun of them, but then you have idiots here look at it and go “ahh good ol’ white america” or “ahhh the early 00s were beautiful”. It’s ridiculous and really makes me wonder how many of you grew up in similarly shitty families.
