IM GUY FIERI AND WERE ROOOLLLIN OUT
>btfos all "real" chefs and becomes a millionaire entertainer by licensing his show of him eating high calorie slop
>>201689470based
>>201689470guy had the last laugh. he's still an sub-par chef.
>>201689470Why did he make bourdain seethe so much?
>>201689470>Eat at a banging local restaurant tonight.>Get the hometown cream sauce.>Chill out with a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a bar you can be yourself at.>Check out some joint you’ve never been.>Shoot the breeze with someone you would never think turns out to be your brother from another mother.>Order the bomb dot com steak rare.>Eat an awesome sauce oyster.>Go on an expedition to discover what a Negroni is.>Have two if you find out that’s for you.>Flick on the neon open sign to a world where you may not understand or agree with the next funky find you discover, but invite them in to Flavortown anyways.>Slow your roll to savor the moment.>Show some love to your waitress.>Dial up your friends to get the down low. >Ring up the phone in your own home. >Love, peace, and taco grease!
>>201689470>DUDE! These guacamole stuffed mozzarella stick are wiggity-wam-wam flavor nuclear!>and the honey sriracha teriyaki dipping sauce is off the chiggity chain!

>its a guy clearly hates the food episode this is NOT flavor town
>>201690519has that even ever happened?
G.F. is the post-post-modern Everyman. We are lucky to be alive to experience such a creature.
FIERI BOYZ WE OUT HERE
>HEY IM GUY FIERI AND IM GONNA PRETEND TO ENJOY THIS ABSOLUTE FUCKING SLOP SERVED UP TO ME IN THIS SHITTY FLYOVER DINERI mean I admire the guy for not breaking once and just telling them their food is complete shit.
>>201689513High IQ move, I've never seen him cook anything
>>201690531I mean its not like he comes right out and says it but see >>201690676theres times were you can just see it in his face and energy
>>201690519>>201690676>>201690784I've been binging DDD clips while eating myself recently and you can definitely tell sometimes guy doesn't dig the food. When he likes it you can see the genuine giddiness. When he doesn't like it you see it on his face and he isn't elated. He still says positive things but he'll be more generic like "the sauce is nice" instead of listing a bunch of things and going "this sauce, dude, is killer, the ranch, the onions, oh brother this is good".
>>201691067You'll also notice the editors make crazy jump cuts in the audio
He won.
Guy Fieri is based. Doesn't pretend to be a pretentious chef, just a fat guy that loves food. And he has cringe dyed and gel spiked hair but he doesn't give a fuck what people think and refuses to change it and so it comes back around to being based.
thats it im getting frosted tips
how many seasons have you watched bros?I watched the latest oneI like how he literally shows the ingredients and preparation instead of babbling about cultural crap like a lot of food shows
PUT THAT ON A FLIP FLOP
>>201691710max has a fuck ton of episodes so i've been going through those while I game and stuff weird thing is the first season is all low quality and zoomed in I have no idea why but it stops doing that on the second season I wonder if the food network logo was hardcoded into the video and they were trying to crop it out
>>201691117>That’s not Jeff… that’s a demon.>What up goose? As a Food Network / Guy Fieri than, that’s easily one of my favorite American Dad episodes ever
Have any of you guys tried the places he's went to?
>>201693496Yes, ‘sgood
>>201690009I like this version way better. Inspirational stuff.
>>201690531One time at a black soul food restaurant he reacted negatively to the chitlins. The big fat black lady that made them asked if he didn't like them and he jokingly recovered by talking about what a unique flavor they had, and played it off like that.
>>201690766I'm a Californian faggot and he showed up after the forest fires to smoke meat (kek) for free. He's good at barbecue but I don't think he cooks in a kitchen much.
>>201691664
>>201689715>successful career doing what he loves >brings people up instead of fetishizing their misery>wife and kids that are his>tradcathThe goy didn't know his place
>>201693785>tfw love them bothit's a lonely existence
>>201689715bordain was a pretentious jew
>>201689715Bourdain despised White Americans
>>201689470>Were going to a FUNKY little joint in Spokane, Washington>Doing Kanyan Thai fusion food out of a cardboard box>RIGHT in the middle of a BUSY HIGHWAY!>All that and more on Diners Drive Ins and Dives!
>>201698575Was this post supposed to be funny?
>tfw two of my favorite meals ever were places from DDD that i looked up while i was in said cityfucking love the show so much. you can tell when he isn't a huge fan of something, when something is decent and when something is truly goodno bullshit, just driving around talking to chefs, taking comically large bites, and eating food.
sammy hagar like poblano peppers
>>201689470I thought Guy Fieri was the singer from Smash Mouth for years.
>>201704411>Reminder that they were very close friends and Guy was in attendance at Steve's funeral last yr
>>201689470Today I learned that Guy Fieri is apparently based. Neat.
He's based for pissing off chuds. ill give him that
>>201693496Yeah, there's 3 within a 20 minute drive of where I live. They're all great.
>>201705014His was one of the few celebrity deaths to genuinely bum me out. The fact they broke the news that he was near death a day or so before he actually died made it that much worse
Does he ever come up to canada? I'm always jelly when I'm watching the show
Maybe I'm wrong but I'm sure I've heard Guy is actually pretty chill to people. True?
>>201706288>We're not going to Flavortown, boss?
>>201706596https://dddnearme.com/location/canada
>>201689715>oh yeah this vietnamese rat on a stick is the best food i've ever had fuck the goyim>YEAH BABY WE GOT A TWELVE POUND PORTERHOUSE WITH CHILI CHEESE FRIES RIGHT HERE GOD BLESS THE USA
>>201706288>Fieri Road
>>201706883>most of them are overpriced yuppies placeis this the same case as the place he visit in the US? lots of them feel like mom and pop place with reasonable price
>>201707491have you never watched the show before? i feel like that would answer your question almost immediately, considering it's built into the name of the show.the ones based out of vancouver feel like a good mix of slightly upscale and then normal restaurants, with a couple dive-y type places thrown in. ottawa being fully yuppie makes sense considering that's just the entire city. dunno where he got the curated lists for these places, but it's probably hard to visit some of the types of places he does in the US when you're all the way in Canada. not very interesting or specialty places outside of the main cities without needing to drive super far.some of the restaurants' food look damn good though based off of google photos. of course won't be similar to shit like he does in the south of US or somewhere like Oregeon, etc. but it seems pretty normal.
>>201707708I've rarely go down to the state, so I don't know what the typical food price down there is like. I thought most of the place I went to in seattle for example, was somewhat pricey, even when converting to CAD.
