season 1 was on another level. we'll never have television like this again.

I never got into 24. I thought it was too gimmicky and was turned off by it tee bee aitch. Is it post-9/11 kino?
>>
24 is a psyop for the American cattle to make them think the CIA abducting and torturing people is acceptable
>>
>>201694494
As long as those people are brown, it is.
>>
>>201694394
I really don't remember much about it. Decided to start a rewatch now

Report back in exactly 24 hours.

Day 1 is kino. They then repeat the formula for seven more seasons with diminishing returns, although I remember one of the latter seasons (5?) was randomly really great.

I don't think that's possible. I'm no Jack Bauer goddamnit!

Then go find a Muslim to waterboard and get him to tell me, dammit! There's no time!

I have to find my hot young daughter first!
>>
>>201695553
>when the criminal mastermind who was secretly supporting the terrorist group from the first third of the season reveals that he was actually acting under orders from another, eviler guy all along
>>
man that's a really nice touch
>>
>>201695951
>who was working for an even eviler guy who was giving orders even to the president of the united states
>turns out he's jack's brother
>and he was working for an even eviler guy, jacks dad
>who was working for an even eviler guy, chingchong pingpong
Just don't take anything too seriously in 24 after the first 2 seasons and you can accept it for the masterpiece it is

I watched this show for two reasons.
>>
>>201694076
>Back when they hired creative people to be creative.
I'm sure there are modern things like this that I've just overlooked right?
Right guys?
>>

The President being involved was kino though, unlike the godawful family drama

My favorite trope were the constant moles and double agents in CTU

Holy fuck boys I didn't remember how hype the ending theme was
>>
>>201697489
>the episode where a MC dies and they show the clock tick to end the ep but no sound.
>theme plays
KINO!!!!
>>

I like the music when Jack goes into operator infiltration mode.
Used to love putting headphones on and running around old buildings and stuff pretending I was infiltrating my apt building or something. It's autistic but it gets you amped.
I was 12.
>>
Mandy was best character,
and was still kicking and free by the end of the series.

based booblover

When watching on DVD I would always watch the full credits at the end of an episode just to listen to this song.
>>
>>201699913
>you now remember Jack saws a fucking dudes head off while he's alive and in prison and brings the head to a guy for a chance at maybe finding out who might know someone who is connected to someone who once worked with the guy they are looking for.
You find out the guy was a pedo or something later though so it's cool.

I guess not

Without commercial breaks you end up with ~18 hour runtime. Six hours for sleep. Easy.

Sorry I missed out
