>Fall 2007
>Waking up in your freshmen college dorm room and ditching class to play Halo 3 online on your cutting edge 720p plasma TV
>Turning on your Sirius XM radio and hearing:
>"But enough of this palaver, let's get the show on the road!"
>*DOOOOOO DEEEEEEEEEEE DOOOOOO DEEEEEEEEEEE DOOOOOO DEEEEEEEEEEE DOOOOOO DEEEEEEEEEEE* *drum solo*
>"Good morning everyone. Got Patrice O'Neal in the studio, with Colin Quinn. Got a great show for you today. Col, you look tired man, what's up?"

Opie was the heart and soul of the show. He was the everyman. When Anthony was doing his horrible impressions or Jimmy was having a meltdown over Derrick Jeter, Opie was asking the questions that were on all of our minds like, "what makes saltwater so bad for you?".

Opie represented you and I. He took his lunch to school in a concrete mixing bag just like us. He gave the average Joe a voice on the radio, even interrupting hacks like Patrice O'Neal or Colin Quinn just to allow the listeners to speak. Truly a man of the people.

>always playing yesterdays episodes for the construction crew that would get in fights over what music would play on the stereo.
But they loved O&A, but wasted the same amount of time laughing and bullshitting.

I was in the army at the time. Guy who lived across the hall from me in the barracks had to do 30 days in military prison for getting caught by MPs doing coke in a local bar. He let me have access to his room while he was gone and that's where I played Halo 3.
Also threw quite a few great parties since I had two double-rooms all to myself.

I was more of a Preston & Steve man myself...wonder what they are up to these days.

Any word on Erock’s screenplay? LastbI heard he was still shopping it around. I want to see that movie. The premise sounds like it would be perfect for the Cohen Brothers.

I was 11 years old. Fuck off, zoomer.

>>201699319
At the risk of sounding real old:

Mid 90s imus > early mid 90s stern > 00s O&A > Matt and Shane > Durag and Deertag > Dadmeat > YMH

If we are ranking duos

I listened to that, and the time jump fat erock puns were great. Benjamin popped buttones, termineater, sisterhood of stretched pants, him not giving any JFK or 9/11 warnings. Him totally missing he'd need multiple actors or a massive makeup and cgi to get aging from 20 in the late 40s to current day. MC being a radio guy, and not doing any pelosi x10 stock things. And jimmy having a character for it....jesus. i just hate Sam mentioning sliders. Bobby not engaging in fat jokes was whale pod tier.

opie is a talentless faggot who got a free ride to the top and hated every minute of it.

I know people say 4chan is for loser retards and it is, but the even bigger loser retards are the talk radio fans. Listening to Stern or O&A should be grounds for mandatory euthanasia.

>>201700327
classic zoomer that doesn't understand what life was like before internet and smartphones were accessable on 100% of the globe at all times
