I rrally liked VOY. It has some absolutely hilarious shit episodes but it’s mostly fun. They're so relentless in their astroturfing and manufacturing fake success, it should be in every company's playbook. Obviously keeping this whole charade afloat requires millions which is why Paramount is the most unprofitable Hollywood company. That's also why it got purchased for pennies by Skydance.
If you go on Reddit, places like /r/startrek are just shillbots generating engagement. It's dead internet. Lower Drecks was allowed to go on for 2 seasons (they call it five seasons but we all know it's a two season fifty episode order split into five) solely based on fake internet engagement. SNW continues to go on based solely on fake internet engagement and botted Nielsen ratings. Paramount refuses to release actual streaming numbers for their shitty shows.
And if you need proof th at they're botting ratings, look at that horrible Halo show. It was a hit judged by any "professional" metric but it still got canned because the real, internal unbotted numbers were shit. People hated that fucking show.

I watched picard snd discovery for one season each. Trek felt like it deserved me giving them a chance. The only character that was raped was Data desu, they basically shat on one of the best TNG episodes which is The Measure of a Man (when they have the trial to see if data is property or a real crewmember)
Kinda links in with it being a very pessimistic world that the federation just started using androids as slaves after that episode despite the conclusion.
