It is so much more soulfull and original than the boys yet nobody talks about

What are your thoughts on Doom Patrol /tv/ ?

the doom patrol characters were always too obscure and their events too weird to become popular, while the boys is just an evil justice league parody.
the DP approach was sincere and more focused on dealing with the trauma of its characters and giving them character development and more intricate conflicts, but modern audiences seem to respond better to the phoniness and cynicism of something like the boys, something where the characters just get more unhinged with each season
