This is one of my favorite movies.I don't even care for the plot or the villains being goofy. I enjoyed the settings and adventure. Despite the violence it still manages to be a comfy experience. Saoirse looks ethereal and is key in making this movie such a joy to watch and rewatch.

This was the movie that finally made me realize I hated "strong female characters" teleporting around and effortlessly murdering people like jason voorhees but even more dangerous because at least that guy is huge. Haven't watched a movie with one since.

Yet no movie ive seen ever since was without a sniveling rat element to the story, no movie ive see besides kick ass 1 had the clear cut, girl has puprose (mission), all the way invested/exists soley for this shit, refines skills it takes to finish the purpose/mission, goes and does just that, retires nice rounded ending. Fucking beautiful, the wnding of kick ass 1 just stuck with me as how fucking good it was
