Gambit was always a dumb character to build a film around and I honestly still can't believe Fox spent as many years as it did chasing that stupidity instead of just putting him in one of the main X films where he fucking belonged. Whole thing was honestly just as stupid as Sony's Spider villain films though to Fox's credit they at least eventually killed the project
