Yes. Daemon and Caraxes fight Aemond and Vhagar. Caraxes holds Vhagar by the neck but Vhagar cuts open his belly, Daemon kills Aemond but both die when both dragons fall down to the ground

the showrunner is a team Rhaenyra diehard fan.
he is whitewashing her and now he is making Daemon suffer for not being slave for her.
Daemon will emerge from Harrenhal a Rhaenyra errand boi and thus, deserve his epic death.
