I rewatched first Transformers. Jesus Christ it mogs every blockbuster in the last 1,5 decades. Literally in every aspect: camera work, sound design, direction, but most surprisingly - CGI. It really does feel like CGI regressed. What the fuck happened?

He's meant to be the shining beacon of hope and compassion. The fact he kinda doesn't care about Jazz being ripped in two was the first red flag.But yeah '07 is pretty good. I still love the opening scene a lot.
