Just finished Tale of the nine tailed 1938 and kinda surprised to see all Japanese characters are comically evil, not a single redeemable one...well maybe the mother (Seiko Tawara) who at all moments wanted to protect her korean daughter but she simply disappeared for the last 4 or so episodes. I can understand that sentiment in the show decades ago but in 2023? not even a nuanced character? I thought Korea was over that already, kek rather funny
