You know how it ends, but he road there keep twisting in dark ways all the way to the end. It helps that the teacher isn't exactly innocent, and his sense of justice is constantly sabotaged by his own flaws.>The show is looks great, it screams high production values.>Great acting by everyone. No Asian over acting that could scare away the westoids.>there's one great scene where two cops explain to each other (?!) that sometimes there are bad apples, but the police are good and always serve the people. Big blunt CCP message.I don't know If I'd recommend the show. Way too much time is devoted to the least interesting story, and the pacing suffers as a result. Some episodes were great, while in others I waited for them to finish retelling the same story for the fifth time. The crime detective genre is filled to the brim, so I'm sure there's better some British or Norwegian show to watch instead. Or watch The Long Season, it's similar in some ways, but it's 10/10.

Though the dramas themselves have been altered to be completely standalone, Burning Ice, The Long Night, and The Bad Kids were all adapted from the same series of novels. Of the trio, I'd say The Long Night is better than Burning Ice (which is a solid early webdrama though) but a step below The Bad Kids.
