Netflix intentionally pushes for shorter shows, and it's hard to argue when you see how most kdramas fall about in the middle, as the pacing goes to shit.

IIRC in the cdrama it's adapted from, the ML never really considers her as a sibling and the 2nd ML doesn't actually love her like that (major abandonment issues, actually quite sad the way it plays out). But they definitely skirt the line with how the romance and "love triangle" develops, to the point that many complained/felt uncomfortable about it. Personally did not care for it either.I'm hoping that the kdrama will do a better job with the romance. Don't have high hopes for the lead cast (2nd ML is a tough role imo), but I do like Choi Won-young and he plays the best dad
