>>203667730Fact Check: False
>>203667751He's literally 84 you schizo
>>203667852And Clint Eastwood is in his 90s, Dick van Dyke is nearly 100. Patrick Stewart isn't dead. Yet.
>>203667852heh he’s actually 7289 years old because of relativistic time adjustments during his time in space
>>203667730His voice died like 8 years ago
>>203667885Nobody said he was dead.

>>203668065AI
>>203667730Trans actress OP found hanging himself earlier this afternoon
star trek picard sucked
>>203668266It must be.I thought it was someone else but all I can find is that it's still Picard
>>20366773084 is a nice age
>>203668217>>203668349The weird thing is that Patrick Stewart had actual creative input over S1 and S2 of Picard (he's even listed as a writer and producer for S2 IIRC) and it still led to whatever the fuck that was. This bizarre, self-indulgent nonsense where Picard goes back in time to find out that he's the specialest boy in the universe because his great-great-great-great grandma saved the world while also doing random flashbacks to his childhood (which are totally not based on Patrick Stewart's irl childhood in 19540s Britain) was what Patrick Stewart wanted. There are lots of Star Trek plotlines about captains going back in time to affect pivotal moments in history. But Kirk winning World War II and Sisko starting the Bell Riots (leading to the Federation) are somehow less egregious than Picard convincing his depressed ancestor that she needs to go to space to end climate change.

>>203668523kek I forgot about that thing with his mom. What a weird subject for a show about the life of an elderly man, his mommy issues
ITT: illiterates not capable of finishing one sentence.
Mood’s a thing for cattle!And loveplay!
>>203668610>What a weird subject for a show about the life of an elderly man, his mommy issuesTbf his mother was abused by his father when he was a kid, and that's why Stewart does charity events and speeches about domestic violence. This would be a great topic for a tv show about Patrick Stewart. Talking about his experiences as a child, the way society in the old days didn't take domestic violence complaints seriously, etc., that could be an interesting show. But it makes no real sense for a Picard show. That's the larger problem with the Picard show as a whole, it's a vanity project where Patrick Stewart can air out all his personal stuff and Paramount let him do whatever he wanted because they needed his face for marketing purposes.
Proud Pitmommy Patrick

>>203669076it's a patstew general thread

>>203670222...for now.
>>203668523Stewart doesn't understand the Picard character. This is evident at least from the TNG Movies

Just watched pic related and it was so weird to see him just show up at the end after a big buildup and say nothing.
>>203670332Did you watch the sequel too?
>>203670360It was Smileys People so I'm pretty sure it was the sequel.
Tom hardy next
>>203670257It would make sense if this old fart didn't understand Picard's character now but the fact that those movies exist proves that he never understood it.
>>203670501In that case, did you watch the original?
>>203667730I didn't know he was sick
>>203670605No and I am not sure if I will. The movie was really good and the Alec Guiness is really kind of meh as Smiley.
>>203670681I am officially putting our friendship on hiatus until you watch the original.
