>>203938040That's a very cozy movie, I love Ernest Scared StupidMy October watch list, mostly first time watches

>>203938040>What are you planning to watch?
I already started in September.Watched Trap, Abigail, some other things.>>203941306Good list, seen most of these.Goosebumps is underrated as a Halloween movie, it's decent.Right now I'm watching Bodkin (2024).It's the BEST fucking Halloween gift we could have gotten this year.Halloween-themed spooky mystery show set in a cozy Irish town.I just finished episode 4 and I'm actually dreading when it's over because I know nothing this year could possibly be better, movie or TV show-wise, aside from maybe Slow Horses season 4.I'll probably make a dedicated thread on it when I'm done.Otherwise, I'll be finishing The Midnight Club (I stopped somewhere near the end), will possibly watch The Haunting of Bly Manor, maybe finish The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell (holdover from many years ago), finish The Haunted Mansion (2003), The Haunted Mansion (2023), MaXXXine, Ted TV show, V/H/S Beyond, finish Deadstream, The Innocents (1961), The Old Dark House (1932), and of course all the Halloween specials coming out this year, mainly cartoons.
>>203941676Maxxxine is fucking awesome. Some surprisingly good gore, great performance by Kevin Bacon, killer soundtrack... just one of my favorite movies this year for sure
>>203941803Yea I already sort of know. I'm a Ti West fan and he understands horror well enough to make authentic tributes. The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers, X, Pearl are all 'classics' to me.
>>203938040Anons please add the 1980s ABC special The Red Room Riddle to your Halloween playlists. It's cozy and spooky and has a child actor you might recognize lol https://youtube.com/watch?v=FDusQJdw3gkHonestly kinda spooky too
>>203938040A bunch of Halloween movies, maybe some Friday the 13th.
>>203941902I've seen most of Ti's movies but he's never really been one of my favorites. I liked X but didn't love it. I liked Pearl significantly more than X. And Maxxxine I thought was just the most entertaining of all.
Here's some to avoid this Halloween season.
I think what some of you people are going to need to do is sharpen your knives, get some pumpkins and have some fun.
>>203938040>it's the 90s>teacher wheels in a big metal cart with a 500lb tube tv sitting on top>this movie is permanently glued into the VCR on the bottom shelf
>>203942023Just added all of these to my watchlist

>>203941917Not him but thanks for that. Love old '80s/'90s stuff, been meaning to do a thorough archival sweep on old Halloween media but never had the time.Sad that the highest quality some of these are available in are youtube though.

>>203944010The Thing is great and I like it a lot, I just don't personally see it as an untouchable 5/5 like a lot of people seem to. If someone puts it in their top 10 I get it.

>>203938040Rec me some autumn/Halloween kinos
Overt The Garden Wall. I will be watching it alone this year just like every other year and I will be angry and sad and therefore will drink and throw the bottles at the niggers who wander up and down my street past 8pm.

>>203941306>universal monsters tbdHighly recommend The Invisible Man.
The 2020 elections.
>>203946759The Invisible Man ROCKS, definitely one of my favorite Universal monster movies. I've been slowly watching through the Universal Monsters blu ray box set so TBD probably actually means one of the Mummy or Invisible Man sequels for me. Bride of Frankenstein and The Invisible Man are probably my two favorites so far.
>>203946876Yeah it's great. Haven't seen any of the sequels though, I want to dive into the Universal Monster sequels eventually. Will probably watch a few in October.Don't think it's in that box set but The Old Dark House is another great James Whale Universal horror movie you should check out if you haven't yet.
>>203946753imagine being the actor playing the main jock who got bumped from the poster in lieu of Usher who has like 2 lines
