Ghost Dance - 4.3/10 on IMDB
Dial D for Demons - 4.7/10
Shanks - 5.5/10
Mind Benders - 5.3/10
Mystere - 5.5/10
A Taste for Fear - 4.8/10
Sweets from a Stranger - 5/10

All for the low cost of $265.

Seriously when are these scammers going to be sent to jail? At this rate it is straight fraud what they are doing. None of these films even constitute as watchable movies.

Look at it as a business model:
>Buy rights to make and release disc of movies nobody wants. Nice and cheap.
>Put discs in slick cases. Nice and cheap.
>Market them as 'So bad it's good' Saturday night fodder for film needs.
>Charge premium prices. Ya know, because exclusively license and hard to come by original prints and shit or whatever.
>Make profit.
>>
>>204062602
I hate these guys lmao, all this effort for such shit garbage D-tier movies when they could be doing abandoned classics like the entire Fox catalog
>>
>>204063280
nobody gets Fox stuff without Disney approval
>>
>>204063256
Too bad they are moving to mainstream shit now. They gonna bring out shit 500 companies already did.
>>
>>204063263
>hard to come by original prints
Yes. Oftentimes they're scanning from the only known print.
>>204063280
Disney owns Fox and isn't going to just willy nilly give their IPs away. VS doesn't get to just put out whatever movies they feel like, they have to pay to get the rights first. Besides Wall-E on Criterion I don't think Disney's let anybody touch their catalog shit since the Anchor Bay days 25 years ago.
>>
>>204062602
you don't get it, they're bad on purpose
>>
>>204063461
They're literally not. I remember when tons of these came out first run. They're just regular bad movies. You guys are so fucking stupid.

lmao, mind-broken

And you won't give them a chance at the possibility of never meeting your favorite movie of all time. You outsource 100 percent of your consciousness to the hive mind, not only that, you seem to be proud of this.
>>
amuses me how 50 years from now there will be a streaming service made up exclusively of the low to mid budget, catalog filler slop that netflix/prime are putting out right now.
>>
>>204066102
but it will be twice the price of other streaming services and have a really sleek artistic streaming feel to it. Maybe even limited registration, after all they have the underrated vintage classics!
>>
>>204066174
I'm pretty sure is some shill at this point trying to boycott them for some reason
>>
>>204066102
>>204066126
This won't happen because no one is actually watching any of these movies, there are 10s of thousands of films made today with no audience. There are no hidden gems. Why VS works is people remember all its releases from back in the video store days.
>>
>>204066427
>There are no hidden gems
read between the lines: none of VS releases are hidden gems either
>>
>>204066174
Because the guys operating it are clearly sex perverts of some kind.
Likely pedophiles, it's pretty obvious.
>>
>>204066459
VS has released road house and showgirls, they just love releasing d movies instead for some reason

FUCK YES.
It has been on my Blu-Ray wishlist for a while now.

Solid low key but comfy underrated moody slasher. WAY too darkly lit on VHS.

Great double murder in a museum sequence. Decent shower scene.

nta, but they used to have these things called "video stores."
we'd rent movies, but the people distributing them generally didn't even try to make the product look good, the transfers were awful, cropped, the sound bad... half the popularity of these boutique label releases is people getting to see what a movie they saw 30 years ago is actually supposed to look like for the first time.
>>
>>204067613
Interesting, so are any of them worth seeing or it's all nostalgia?

There's thousands of these releases. Some are some of my favorite, some are complete crap. I have no idea what you like, i'd imagine if you have any interest in this kind of stuff you would already be watching them.
