Man, imagine if the story was about the full-on Joker (not Arthur Fleck) seeing how far he could take his fame and power in a fight against the system. Rather than backtracking, go full Bonnie and Clyde with Harley, we will be rooting for him, then suddenly, BAM, Batman comes in and stops him. It will be a reversal that we haven't realized we were rooting for the villain and maybe Batman was the villain all along.Truly, the greatest disappointment is all the lost potential.
